Besides teaching them skills we help them with their formal education; help with their homework, provide school equipments and financial support. The children will be guided until they're able to stand on their own feet and have a job. Anak Bangsa also provides them health support when needed. In July 2015 Anak Bangsa opened her first official Vocational highschool SMK ANAK BANGSA Tourism. This vocational school provides free education for all underprivileged children, included uniforms, books etc.

Strengthening School–Family Collaboration at SMK Anak Bangsa

On Thursday, October 8, 2026, SMK Anak Bangsa held a meeting with parents and guardians to strengthen collaboration, build mutual understanding, and enhance communication between the school and families.

The meeting highlighted the school’s flagship programs and future development plans, while emphasizing the essential role of parents in supporting students’ learning journeys and character development.

Through this initiative, SMK Anak Bangsa aims to foster a stronger partnership between the school and families to nurture students who demonstrate strong character, possess relevant skills and competencies, strive for excellence, and are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the workforce and the future.

Meet Team Anak Bangsa 2026 – Part IV

As we mentioned a little while ago, we’d like to introduce you to the members of our team for 2026. We operate through two different teams, both of which play an important role in the Anak Bangsa family.

Today, we’re introducing you to the Class Mentors of this academic year at SMK Anak Bangsa.

As our school continues to grow, we have more classes and that means more class mentors to support and guide our students. This year, we’re proud to have 15 class mentors, an important milestone in the growth of SMK Anak Bangsa. 🎉

Our class mentors play an important role in the daily life of each class. They are there to guide their students, follow their progress, and be an important point of contact between students, school, and parents.

For parents, knowing who their child’s class mentor is also means knowing who to reach out to when they have a question, concern, or something they’d like to discuss.

Strengthening team SMK Anak Bangsa

This week, team SMK Anak Bangsa had the opportunity to take part in a guidance session focused on reviewing our school’s vision, mission, and objectives. As well as our educational unit curriculum and learning programs an important step toward strengthening the quality of school management and educational practices.

The session was facilitated by SMK Supervisors from Central Lombok Regency: Dindin Ginanjar, S.Pd., Triyono Urip Raharja, M.Ed., and Mastur, S.Pd. We sincerely appreciate their guidance, support, insights, and expertise, which provided us with meaningful perspectives for continued growth.

More than a review, this session was a valuable opportunity to learn, reflect, discuss, and evaluate. Together, we explored ways to strengthen our school programs so they remain focused, relevant, and responsive to the needs of our student, as well as to the ever evolving landscape of education and the world of work.

At SMK Anak Bangsa, we believe that continuous improvement is a shared journey. Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we prepare our students for the future.

SMK Anak Bangsa Student Council Elections 📝

Finally, after several weeks of preparation, it was election day! It was an exciting day for everyone, especially the candidate pairs running for President and Vice President of the Student Council.

After a busy morning filled with their final speeches and campaign activities, it was time to vote. All students, teachers, and staff members had the opportunity to cast their votes and choose the candidate pair they trusted to lead the Student Council for the coming year.

With everyone’s voices heard, the election marked an exciting new chapter for the SMK Anak Bangsa Student Council!

SMK Anak Bangsa Goes on a Study Tour!

Learning goes beyond the classroom! Our Grade X and XI students from the Travel and Tourism Services program recently explored four amazing destinations in Lombok: Banyumulek, Lingsar Temple, Narmada Park, and Klui Beach.

At Banyumulek, the students discovered Lombok’s rich pottery tradition and learned more about the craftsmanship behind its famous pottery products.

The journey itself was also part of the learning experience. On the bus, students practiced their tour-guide skills, learning how to introduce destinations, communicate information, and engage with fellow travelers like professional guides.

At Lingsar Temple, students gained a deeper understanding of Lombok’s diverse cultures and religious traditions. The site, where Hinduism and Islam coexist side by side, provided a meaningful lesson about interfaith tolerance, mutual respect, and harmony.

And at Klui Beach, learning took a more playful turn! Students participated in fun group games that encouraged teamwork, communication, and cooperation.

From pottery and cultural heritage to tour-guide practice, teamwork, and beach activities, this study tour was filled with learning, exploration, and unforgettable experiences.

Meet Team Anak Bangsa 2026 – Part III

As we mentioned a little while ago, we’d like to introduce you to the members of our team for 2026. We operate through two different teams, both of which play an important role in the Anak Bangsa family.

Today, we’re introducing you to the Teachers of SMK Anak Bangsa.

This team consists of all the dedicated teachers working at our school, SMK Anak Bangsa. Every day, they work hard to provide the best possible education and support to our students.

With countless hours of patience, care, and dedication, they prepare our students to become future professionals in the hospitality industry.

Without our dedicated teachers, there would be no SMK Anak Bangsa and so many young people would not have the opportunity to complete their education and build a future in hospitality.

We are incredibly grateful for everything they do. 🩷
