Peace & Progress for Rohingya is a Refugee-Led Organization working at community level to empower Rohingya refugees through education, advocacy, peacebuilding, leadership development, and community support.

World Refugee Day – 20 June-2026

Today, on World Refugee Day, we stand in solidarity with millions of refugees around the world who have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety and protection.

As Rohingya refugees, we know the pain of displacement, the uncertainty of the future, and the longing for a place to call home. Yet, despite the many challenges we face, we continue to move forward with resilience, hope, and determination.

Refugees are not just statistics. We are fathers, mothers, children, students, and community members with dreams, talents, and aspirations. Given the opportunity, we can contribute positively to the communities around us.

On this World Refugee Day, we honor the strength and courage of refugees everywhere and renew our hope for a future where every person can live in safety, dignity, freedom, and peace.

No one chooses to be a refugee, but everyone deserves a chance to rebuild their life.

While support cannot continue at this time, we remain grateful for their partnership and compassion.
The need is still urgent—many families continue to struggle with rent and food.

We are glad to share that our Digital Literacy (Laptop Learning) Program has started successfully.
Our youth are learning basic computer skills with great interest and motivation.

Peace & Progress For Rohingya has extended emergency support to families affected by the recent fire incident in Camp 16, Bangladesh. The fire caused significant destruction, leaving hundreds of families without shelter and essential household items. In response, we mobilized immediate assistance to support the most vulnerable, including women, children, and the elderly. This intervention reflects our ongoing commitment to humanitarian response, community solidarity, and dignity for displaced Rohingya families. While the needs remain urgent, collective action and compassion make a meaningful difference.
