Mother's Day is coming! 🌸 This year, skip the flowers that will wilt and the gifts that will collect dust. What about giving something that will still be growing in 10 years?

A reef star. 18 corals. Planted in her name on a real reef in Bali. With a personalised bamboo tag that will carry her name underwater, forever.

Because the best mums deserve more than a candle. They deserve a piece of the ocean. 💙

Imagine if coral planting could be automated...

Imagine if AI could scan the ocean floor, identify the dead zones and deploy corals...
Imagine if AI could put the reefs back to life on its own, without a single human in the water.

That would change everything.💙

But here's where we actually are. Our team, all of you, underwater, every single day, placing each coral by hand. One by one. Structure by structure. There is no shortcut. But together, we already restored more than 8,000 square meters of reef! 🎉

And honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way.
Because the day we stop showing up is the day the reef stops growing.

So until AI figures out how to put on a wetsuit — we'll be in the water. 😉

👇🏼 Want to be part of it? You don't need to be a diver. Come plant corals with us — we'll handle the rest.

So many new faces here! Welcome to the family! 💕

Let us do a little recap for all the new ocean lovers joining us.

We're Livingseas Asia, a dive center in Padangbai, Bali with a little twist. Every single day we plant corals and anyone can join us, anyday! A reef we built from scratch, coral by coral.

What you're seeing here are our reef structures — each one holding between 18 and 30 corals — sitting on the ocean floor, already becoming home to so much life.

Over 400,000 corals planted. More than 8,000 square meters of reef restored. And it keeps growing.

Here's how you can be part of it 👇
🪸 Come to Bali with us — Join us for a fun afternoon in Padangbai, learn about coral reefs and plant your very own coral structure underwater. Diver, snorkeller or first-timer, everyone is welcome. Your structure stays on the reef forever, keeps growing, and you can even put your name on it. Yes, really.

🌿 Adopt a coral structure — Can't make it to Bali? You can still have your own piece of the reef. Choose between a reef structure holding 18 or 30 corals, or go big with a nursery holding 1,000 corals. We plant it, we take care of it, and we keep you updated.

Every coral counts. Every person who joins us makes the reef a little bigger, a little healthier.

Glad you're here. 🙏

Wow, we just had to share these with you! 📸

We recently had out diving with us, and he captured some beautiful shots of the marine life here. It’s one thing to be down there working, but seeing the reef through his lens really makes you stop and appreciate the magic of this ecosystem.

The colors, the details, the life—it’s exactly why we do what we do.

Which one is your favorite? 🐠👇

(For us, it's the number 6, can you guess why? 😜)

📸: All shots by the talented — make sure to check out his page for more!

It's official. Our biggest structure ever — Rusty Seas— just made it to the bottom of the ocean, and honestly? We're over the moon about it 🥹🎉

2,500 corals. One structure. Built from scratch over 4 weeks by our incredible team of 6 UNRAM interns — including one legend who's back for his 3rd time. Yeah, you read that right.

Three full days to get her to the bottom and attach every single corals to it. (Well done team!!)

Huge congrats to our interns — you are AMAZING! 👏🏼

👉🏼 Want to be part of the reef we're building together? Come plant your own coral structure with us — diver, snorkeller, or first-timer welcome. 🎉

Google. This is a massive "pinch-me" moment for us. We started Livingseas with a small team and a big dream to save the ocean. Seeing a community of people from one of the most influential companies in the world rally together for this mission is something we’ll never forget.

This wasn't just a corporate move—this was a massive fundraiser by employees who wanted to see a real change in the ocean.

Together, they’ve officially joined the movement by sponsoring:
👉🏼 10 large nurseries (our "coral cities" that hold 1,000 corals each)
👉🏼 40 super reef structures
👉🏼 10 reef structures

That is 11,380 corals anchored into the Bali seabed in one single deployment. 🤯

Seeing their name on the seafloor is a powerful reminder: ANYONE, no matter who you are or where you work, has the power to make a difference.

If this team is ready to lead by example, it begs the question: What are you waiting for?

Our 8,000sqm reef is proof of what happens when we stop dreaming and start building. The Google team has already taken their seat on the seafloor. Now, it’s your turn.

To the Google crew: Thank you so much for trusting us to build this with you. (And a huge special thanks to Lia! ❤️)

Can we officially call this the best office in the world? 🥹🪸

Meet Jeanne, one of our newest Coral Restoration Interns! She just joined the crew and is here in Bali with us until June... and we are so glad to have her!

If you’ve been following us and wondering what it’s actually like to join us for an internship, this is it! From prepping structures to attaching reef structures underwater, every day is a chance to see the reef grow because of your own two hands.

The best part? You don’t need a biology degree or years of scientific experience to do what Jeanne is doing. We aren't looking for a specific resume—we’re looking for people with heart, energy, and a massive love for the ocean. We’ll teach you everything else you need to know.

Does this look like your kind of day?

Something big is cooking in the gudang (warehouse)! 🔨🌊

For the last month, the workshop has been buzzing with energy. After two weeks of intense planning and another two weeks of heavy lifting, our newest "Octodome"—fondly named Rusty Seas—is almost ready for its permanent home on the seafloor.

What makes this structure extra special is the team behind it. This entire build was piloted by our 6 incredible interns from UNRAM. Watching them take charge of this project has been amazing—especially since one of them is back with us for his third internship! Seeing that kind of returning passion is exactly why we do what we do.

Rusty Seas is more than just steel and mesh; it’s a massive new canvas for coral life and a testament to the next generation of ocean architects.

We still have a little way to go before it’s officially submerged, but we couldn't wait to show you the progress. Stay tuned—the installation is going to be epic 🥳
...So how many corals do you think it will hold?

10,000 of you 🥹🫶🏼 To some it's just a number on a screen, for us its the most meaningful movement.

Whether you've been under the water with us in Padangbai planting corals, or you've followed our journey from accross the world - thank you.

You aren't just "followers". You are the reason we've been able to plant 400,000+ corals and reclaim 8,000 square meters of the seafloor.

You are the ones who proved that tourism can be a force for healing, not just consumption.

Every like, every share, and every structure sponsored has helped us turn a graveyard into a masterpiece.

We started with a small dreams and a few bamboo tags. Today, we are 10,000 strong, proving every day that the ocean's story isn't over yet.

We are just getting started. Thank you for being part of the heart of Livingseas Asia.

We wanted to present you the heroes behind our coral restoration work, and this is one of them: Pasek!

When Pasek first came in, he was very shy—but he was giving out all the energy and love for the ocean. He is the brother-in-law of Surip, one of our earliest team members, and over time, Livingseas became more than a project; it became a family story.

From learning his very first breath underwater to now—on his way to becoming a Dive Master. We’ve seen him grow from a quiet helper into a confident leader who gives briefings, guides guests with incredible care, and protects the reef he helped build.

Today, Pasek is the calm in the water. He still looks at our 8,000 square meters of coral with that same sense of amazement he had on day one, and that means everything to us.

But this isn’t just about Pasek. It’s about the local team who chose to stay and grow with us. We knew from the start that we couldn’t build this alone; we had to build it with the community. By training, investing, and growing together, we’ve built a bridge of trust that outsiders never could.

Pasek and the crew are the soul of this reef. They aren't just staff—they are the Architects of their own ocean’s future. We are so grateful they chose to build this legacy with us.

Next time you’re in Padangbai, you’ll likely see Pasek’s smile on the boat. Come say hello to the man behind the 400,000+ corals.

Drop a ❤️ in the comments to show Pasek some love!
