ave entered the list of crisis. ISCP activities are non-political and non-violent and do not look at race, nation and religion in implementing at the activities.ISCP founded in 2011 in Medan, North Sumatra Indonesia.Activities of ISCP is education, socialization, help the investigation together with the relevant authorities whether it Forestry departments or officials or other competent authority, and rescue a variety of animal species. ISCP motivated established fact that Indonesia is one country that has the highest biodiversity in the world, but unfortunately Indonesia also has the longest list of endangered wildlife. Habitat destruction and over-exploitation is a major cause Indonesian wildlife threatened with extinction. This condition is further exacerbated by the weakness of public awareness of the importance of wildlife and habitat conservation. If it is allowed to continue it will be more and more species of wildlife that will be completely eradicated from nature. Wildlife extinctions this would trigger other natural damage, which in turn will have a negative impact to human life. So for it ISCP is necessary to get involved in protecting wildlife species and other wildlife animals who really needed allows for the preservation of fauna and natural and consistent work in this area. ISCP view wildlife preservation or non-wild is the entrance to preserve nature in general, which in turn will provide a better life for the people of Indonesia and the human race globally.

Six wild cats, packed in cardboard boxes and ready to be shipped. That’s what authorities found in Medan, Indonesia, after a tip-off about wildlife being sold on Facebook.

The animals? Protected leopard cats locally known as Kucing Kuwuk. One 28-year-old local man was arrested while trying to send all six through a land transport service. The investigators believe this isn’t a solo act, they’re now tracing a possible wider wildlife trafficking network in North Sumatra.

Another case that started online and a reminder that protected wildlife is not a commodity. https://tinyurl.com/mrb7tdaj

English Name: The dark morph changeable hawk eagle
Indonesian name: Elang Brontok
Latin Name: Nisaetus cirrhatus

A medium-sized eagle with large, rounded wings. It appears to have a small head when flying. The name is a little misleading, as there are only two forms of the color, pale and black. Adults form pale dark brown upperparts with a white chest punctuated by dark stripes. Juveniles are much paler, with pure white underparts and slight streaking across the body. The dark form is completely dark with paler outer wing coverts, and can be mistaken for a dark honeycatcher; note the longer wings and sleeker appearance. Inhabits forests, forest edges, as well as parks and large plantations.

The Sumatra Forestry Law Enforcement Agency and the North Sumatra Regional Police Supervisory Agency successfully dismantled an international wildlife trafficking network in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra (January 15, 2026).

During the sting operation, officers seized seven protected exotic birds and named a man with the initials MF (26) as a suspect. The animals were found in four small cages in the living room of the perpetrator's house, in poor condition and suffering from severe stress.

The confiscated birds included Yellow-crested Cockatoos, King Cockatoos, Molucan Cockatoos, and King Chattering Lories—endemic species native to eastern Indonesia that are protected by law. The Head of the Sumatra Forestry Law Enforcement Agency emphasized that this action demonstrates the government's seriousness in eradicating crimes against natural resources. For his actions, the suspect is being charged under Law Number 32 of 2024, which carries a penalty of three to 15 years in prison and a fine as determined by law.

Stop wildlife trafficking! 🙏😍🌳🦅🦧,protect Indonesia's biological wealth.

Many insects are beneficial to human life, including the beetles and bees in this photo. They act as decomposers and decomposers, including waste decomposers; they serve as aesthetic and tourist attractions, such as butterflies and colorful beetles; they are beneficial in pollination and as plant pests; they are valuable food for animals (birds) and produce honey (from the genus Apis), among others. Besides their direct role, insects also play an indirect role, maintaining ecological balance in nature, as they are part of the food chain, with some bird species relying on insects as their primary food source. However, if their numbers are uncontrolled due to the disruption of the natural balance due to a reduction in insect predators, insect numbers will spiral out of control due to their rapid reproduction. This can be detrimental to agriculture, plantations, and humans directly.
