Together with Ocean 5 Gili Air, we went underwater to check out the reef around Gili Trawangan

We found quite a lot of Halimeda algae growing over parts of the reef, and some areas seem to be getting more covered

We still need more research to understand what’s causing it, but for now, it’s important to keep monitoring and documenting what we see

Our reefs are home to so much marine life and are a big part of life here in the Gili Islands. So let’s keep an eye on them and take care of them together

If you’re a cat person, you’ll probably love this one! 😸

We spent some time with the lovely team at Cats of Gili and got to see a little bit of what they do for the island’s cats.

They’ve been rescuing, caring for, and looking after cats on the Gili Islands for years, and there are always plenty of little faces needing some extra love and care. 🐾

So if you’re on Gili T and happen to walk past their Meowquarters or charity shop, pop in and say hi! You might leave with a new favourite cat… or five 😁

In our first episode, we visited STUD Horse Riding, where rescued and retired horses including Mamba and Rainbow, they receive the care, love, and peaceful retirement they deserve
