Today would have been our Captain , Robert Epstone's 78th birthday. He lived such a full life and achieved so much. Wacky with his barefeet and feathered hair, incredibly philanthropic and a heart of gold.
Always remembered and forever missed
My promise to you will never be broken - the SoleFamily Bali we built will continue to grow and help more and more.

10m IDR NEEDED PLEASE TO HELP DESAK WALK MORE EASILY

Desak has been under our care for several years due to her Cerebral Palsy which causes mobility issues. She has received botox injections twice before which helped immensely. She now needs another course costing 10m idr

Today our ambulance has picked up a very poorly SoleBuddy in Buleleng where she has been monitored throughout by our nurse, Reni. Ibu Partini has deteoriorated during the journey so will be taken directly to Sanglah where hopefully she will stabilise and improve.
Caring for the most sick and vulnerable with love and dignity

Meet Made Angga, a 9 years old. He has an intellectual disability.

Angga lives in Tianyar with his family, all under one roof. His grandma is his main carer, and she's never far from his side.
Life isn't easy for them. His dad is a handyman, but the work comes and goes, so there's no steady income.

The house is falling apart, with walls patched in plywood and a roof that leaks when it rains.

We are eager to change that and we need your help:
• Build a simple, safe kitchen�• Fix the roof and repair the walls

We need at least 30 million rupiah; every bit goes towards a dry, safe home where Angga's grandma can cook for him again. Please join us and donate, or even share this, it helps to enhance their lives.

Has been quite a week!
Several inpatients , a full Care and Recovery Centre, cars travelling island-wide, remembering our beloved Captain and visiting older and new SoleBuddies.
We assessed another lady in pasung, another guy and his family with obvious complex needs, met a child kept on a rope - we care for extremes and do our best for each and every one of them plus support and guide their families.
Our team works very long hours and are all exhausted. With more funding we could recruit more and help more

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the death of SoleFamily Bali's Co founder, Robert Epstone aka Captain. A truly amazing man who devoted his life to helping the less fortunate.
He is remembered every day and missed greatly.
I personally promised him 2 days before he passed to continue and grow SoleFamily as we had planned. A promise I will never break.
Forever remembered ( and his bare feet and feathers), missed every day and loved always
