I am delighted to announce the launch of Inclusive Research School program, designed to
enhance your knowledge and skills in research and inclusive research practices.
1. Program Overview
o The Inclusive Research School program is a four-week training initiative focusing
on research methodologies and inclusive research practices for researchers in
Eastern Indonesia.
o The program aims to enhance research skills, promote diversity and inclusivity,
and foster collaborations within the research community in Kupang.
o Program Overview:
▪ Week 1: Introduction to Research Methodology
o Understanding different research methodologies
o Developing research questions and objectives
o Data collection and analysis techniques
▪ Week 2: Inclusive Research Practices
o Exploring the principles of inclusive research
o Addressing diversity and inclusivity in research projects
o Collaborating with diverse communities and stakeholders
▪ Week 3: Ethical Considerations in Research
o Ensuring ethical standards in research practices
o Respecting cultural sensitivities and local contexts
o Upholding integrity and transparency in research
▪ Week 4: Hands-on Research Project
o Applying research methodologies and inclusive practices
o Conducting a research project in collaboration with local communities
o Presenting research findings and recommendations
2. Objectives
o This four-week program aims to provide you with comprehensive training and
practical experience in conducting research that is inclusive, diverse, and
impactful.
o To equip participants with knowledge and skills in conducting inclusive research
projects.
o To create a platform for networking and collaboration among researchers in
Kupang.
o To promote diversity and inclusivity in research practices.
3. Participant Criteria

o The program is open to a maximum of 20 researchers, including non-disabled
individuals, people with disabilities, and women researchers in Kupang.
o Participants should have a strong interest in research and a commitment to
inclusivity.
4. Program Schedule
o Session 1: Saturday, 5 July 2025, 10.00 am - 12.30 pm
o Session 2: Saturday, 19 July 2025, 10.00 am - 12.30 pm
o Session 3: Saturday, 26 July 2025, 10.00 am - 12.30 pm
o Session 4: Saturday, 2 August 2025, 10.00 am - 12.30 pm
o No class on 12 July 2025.
5. Registration
o Interested researchers can register by contacting Dr. Welmince Djulete at

o The program is free of charge, and no financial contributions are expected from
facilitators or participants.
6. Facilitator
o Sessions will be conducted by Dr. Welmince Djulete, MA TESOL, a research
fellow from Monash University - Herb Feith Indonesian Engagement Centre &
Research Consultant, Sabu Morning Star (NGO).
7. Outcome
o Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in conducting inclusive
research projects and certificate of completion.
