ASSALAM SUMBAR adalah organisasi pelajar Islam se-Sumatera Barat yang mempunyai perwakilan di 12 Kbupaten/kota se Sumbar. ASSALAM SUMBAR berawal dari pertemuan perwakilan pelajar Islam (Rohis) SMA/SMK/MA se Sumbar di Nurul Iman pada 25-27 Oktober 1999. Acara ini digagas oleh Lembaga Pembinaan Pelajar Muslim (LPPM) Sumbar. Islamic Student Association of West Sumatra is a Muslim student organizations as West Sumatra (Indonesian) which has representatives in 12 Kbupaten / cities in West Sumatra.Islamic Student Association of West Sumatra born from the meeting of representatives of Islamic students (Rohis) SMA / SMK / MA in West Sumatra as Nurul Iman on 25 to 27 October 1999. The event was initiated by the Muslim Student Development Institute (LPPM) West Sumatra.
