๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Indonesia generates >64 million tons of solid waste every year. But what if we stopped looking at it as trash, and started seeing it as the future of clean energy? Itโ€™s time to turn our biggest waste problem to solve an environmental crisis and strengthen national energy security.

๐Ÿค Recently, GGGI Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GNI Foundation (Yayasan Gugah Nurani Indonesia) to work together on turning waste challenge into new solutions, starting in West Java.

This partnership aims to support and build the capacity of communities and other stakeholders. One of our ongoing initiatives include building the knowledge and skills related to waste-to-hydrogen ecosystem in West Java. At GGGI Indonesia, we are committed to making green growth practical, local, and people-centered. This MoU is one more step toward that. ๐Ÿ’š

Green Indonesia Future Initiative (GIFT) menandai dimulainya fase baru kerja sama GGGI dan Pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian PPN/Bappenas (, .id) dalam mendorong transformasi ekonomi hijau yang lebih inklusif dan sejalan dengan komitmen iklim Indonesia.

Melalui GIFT, berbagai upaya di bidang energi bersih, pelestarian ekosistem, investasi hijau, serta kota dan industri berkelanjutan akan terus diperkuat untuk mendukung prioritas pembangunan Indonesia ke depan.
