The China-Indonesia marine ecological ranching project in the Makassar Strait is helping restore marine biodiversity while supporting local fishermen.

Through artificial reefs and sustainable fish stocking technologies, more marine species are returning to the area โ€” improving both the ecosystem and local livelihoods.

This project shows how environmental protection and economic development can grow together โ€” while also highlighting a shared China-Indonesia effort toward mutual benefit and sustainable development.

In the waters near Bonetambung Island in Indonesiaโ€™s Makassar Strait, Chinese and Indonesian researchers launched a marine ecological ranching project to help restore the local ecosystem.

Working together with Hasanuddin University, the team introduced artificial reefs and habitat restoration technologies adapted to Indonesiaโ€™s marine environment.

Today, local researchers are witnessing the return of marine species to these waters once again.

China-Indonesia Musical Flash Mob Lights Up Halim Station on Jakarta-Bandung HSR

On April 27, a distinctive China-Indonesia musical flash mob was staged at Halim High-Speed Railway Station in Jakarta, Indonesia, presenting a vibrant and heartwarming cultural experience for passing travelers.

Student choir members from SMP Negeri 3 Ciparay in Bandung, railway enthusiasts from Indonesia, as well as folk musicians from China and Indonesia gathered at the CRRC Lvchi Exchange Center and the waiting hall of Halim Station on the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway. Connected by music, they delivered a cross-border cultural dialogue.

Timeless classic hits popular in both countries, including Indonesiaโ€™s Sinanggar Tulo and Chinaโ€™s Sweet as Honey and The Moon Represents My Heart, were performed one after another, striking a deep emotional chord among the audience.

Akbar Fernando, an Indonesian railway enthusiast, also presented an original rap piece titled Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, specially created for the line. Blending dynamic beats with distinctive Chinese and Indonesian cultural elements, the performance earned warm applause from the crowd.
