Five principles. One nation. Countless stories 🇮🇩

More than a national ideology, Pancasila is a reminder of who we are and what we stand for.

A reminder to respect differences, uphold humanity, strengthen unity, and work towards justice for all.

Happy Pancasila Day. May these values continue to guide us today and every day ✨

Lanterns, light, and a little reminder of the power of kindness. 🏮✨

Today, we join those celebrating Vesak Day and the values of peace, wisdom, compassion, and togetherness that it brings.

Whether it’s through the iconic celebrations at Borobudur or community gatherings across Australia, it’s always wonderful to see how people come together to share traditions, values, and moments of connection.

From all of us at AIYA Jakarta, Happy Vesak Day! May your day be filled with peace, joy, and good company🤍

From awkward first answers to unexpected laughs😆

Had such a fun time interviewing and talking with these amazing students at the event! What started as a simple Q&A session turned into a wholesome interaction full of excitement, nervous smiles, and genuine conversations!🥳

It was really nice hearing their thoughts, seeing their confidence, and watching everyone enjoy the moment together.🥰

Events like this remind us at AIYA Jakarta that learning and connecting with people can be both meaningful and super fun at the same time 😍

Also… trying to stay professional while everyone keeps laughing was definitely the hardest part😂

See you in another event soon!😆🥳

A moment of remembrance. A morning we’ll carry with us🌅

On 25 April 2026, AIYA Jakarta’s committee had the honour of attending the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Jakarta War Cemetery, Menteng Pulo.

Standing there in the quiet of the early morning, honouring those who served, felt truly humbling.

We’re so grateful to have been welcomed into this space of remembrance, and proud to carry the spirit of Australia-Indonesia connection into moments like these.

To all who served, and all who remember: Lest we forget. 🇦🇺

Did you know? 📚✨

National Education Day in Indonesia is celebrated every May 2nd to honor the birth of Ki Hajar Dewantara, the father of Indonesian education.

He believed that education should empower individuals, build character, and create a better society for all.

His philosophy, “Ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madyo mangun karso, tut wuri handayani,” continues to inspire the way we learn and grow today.

At AIYA, we believe in exactly that education that connects people, bridges cultures, and opens doors between Australia and Indonesia.

Every conversation, every exchange, every shared story is a step toward a more informed and united generation.

So today, let’s celebrate curiosity. Let’s celebrate growth. Let’s celebrate each other. ✨

Happy National Education Day to all Indonesian students, educators, and lifelong learners! 🎓🤝

Recap of an inspiring Information Session with The University of Queensland at Fairmont Jakarta on April 19th, 2026 ✨

Grateful for the opportunity to gain valuable insights about academic programs, student life, and future study pathways. It was a great experience connecting with representatives and exploring possibilities for further education abroad 🌏📚

Looking forward to taking the next step in this journey!
