ASEAN Youth Fellowship

The ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF) is a regional leadership programme that connects inspiring young changemakers from Southeast Asia. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration among the public, private, and community sectors while equipping emerging leaders with the skills and networks needed to promote a more inclusive and sustainable ASEAN region.

📅 Programme Dates: 13–20 November 2026

Through interactive learning experiences, field visits, discussions with regional experts, and cultural exchange activities, AYF provides participants with opportunities to build meaningful partnerships and contribute to sustainable development efforts across Southeast Asia.

The fellowship is ideal for young professionals who are passionate about social impact, regional cooperation, and leadership development.

Programme Coverage

The organisers will cover major programme expenses, including accommodation, meals, and transportation during the fellowship.

Participants will be responsible for personal expenses such as travel insurance, required vaccinations, and any additional costs resulting from changes or cancellations to flights or accommodation after the organisers’ stated deadlines.

2026 SEASAT YOUTH CAMP IN TAIWAN
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Date: July 13–16, 2026

The Southeast Asia-South Asia-Taiwan (SEASAT) Youth Camp is an annual flagship event organized by the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF) since its establishment.

It seeks to connect aspiring leaders from across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Taiwan, as well as like-minded countries, to exchange ideas, establish mutual understand, and collaborate on shared issues.

This year, we aim to launch TAEF's Youth Assembly which aims to provide a launchpad for the forthcoming role of the youth as one of the changemakers in the grassroot level of policymaking and creating more impacts in the community.

This year's SEASAT is a special edition as we aim to invite both new and old friends from our community to further wrap up the progress that we have done and to see moving forward what we can do as a young leader in the community.

The organizer will cover the majority of the local expenses incurred during the camp, including meals, lodging, insurance, educational materials, other miscellaneous fees (e.g. site entrance fees), and local transportation for event-related activities.

*NOTE: The organizer will not subsidize round-trip tickets to Taiwan. Delegates are encouraged to seek external funding or sponsorship.

Application Deadline
Online applications will remain open until 23:59, 23rd of May, 2026 (GMT +8 Taipei Time). Early submission is highly encouraged. Applications sent via e-mail will not be accepted.

Selection
As there are limited slots, applications will be screened by a selection committee. Successful applicants will be notified by 18:00, 31st of May 2026(GMT +8 Taipei time

ASEAN-IPR invites youth across ASEAN to join the Focus Group Discussion: “Ground Zero: Conversations on Youth Violent Radicalization.”

This online discussion brings together young people aged 21–30 from ASEAN Member States who are interested in issues related to preventing violent radicalization (PVR). Participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, insights, and experiences in a regional conversation.

Applicants are required to submit a CV and a letter of interest as part of the application process. Three participants with the most insightful contributions will be invited to join the ASEAN-IPR Course on Preventing Violent Radicalization, which will be held in person this October.

Fast Retailing Foundation (The Foundation, FRF) supports aspiring and ardent students in Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines who wish to study at Japanese universities, encouraging them to cultivate an understanding of the Japanese culture, harnessing and enhancing their gifts through intellectual exchanges as well as acquire the knowledge which they need in order to study in Japan.

The Foundation hopes that scholarship students (The Scholars, FRF Scholars) with a sense of mission will make a significant contribution to the development and growth of societies not only in their home countries, or Japan, but globally, and we look forward to working together to make our societies better places for the generations to come. FRF is the corporate foundation of Fast Retailing, the holding company of UNIQLO.

About the Scholarship:
•Grant-Type Scholarship program (no refund required)
•Up to around 4,500,000 yen scholarship per year
•English based Bachelor Programs in 12 designated universities in Japan
•2027 University Admission (under 19 years old in principle)

Who can Apply?
•Must hold a citizenship of one of the three countries (Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines).
•Applicants willing to enroll in an undergraduate program in English at a university designated by the Foundation.
•Must meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the targeted universities designated by the Foundation and show academic ability and qualifications to be admitted to.
