Indonesia Global Compact Network - IGCN

Indonesia Global Compact Network - IGCN UN Global Compact Network Indonesia (IGCN) is a local network of the United Nations Global Compact, the largest corporate sustainability initiatives.

The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles (UNGC 10 Principles) in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption (4 Pillars of UNGC). By doing so, business, as a primary driver of globalization, can help ensure that markets, comm

erce, technology and finance advance in ways that benefit economies and societies everywhere. IGCN was established in 8 April 2006. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, a Board of Management and a Supervisory Board who are the key people in various industries. IGCN performs increasingly important roles in rooting the Global Compact within the country, recruiting new participants through co-organized briefings, seminars, conferences and one-to-one calls. Through its regular multi-stakeholder activities and events, IGCN offers opportunities for:
- Business networking
- Promotes the undertaking of collaborative projects
- Encourages the sharing of good practice related to corporate responsibility
