PDG Andre Suharto (30-minute talk), one of 10 International Awardees for a POLIO-Free World for Rotary Year 2025-26.
Past President John Soe (25-minute talk): At age 4, he got polio & abandoned by his parents & sent to an orphanage. At age 14, he was adopted by a Rotarian & arranged surgery in Singapore & when able to use his legs with the support of Rotary, he studied architecture in Singapore & Interior Design in London. Today, John has a professional practice in Jakarta and is a good provider for his family.
