Our resources include: Books, Songs & Activities The story of Precious Bees began shortly after the birth of my first son in March 2016. I loved bonding with him while singing and reading books to him (and I sensed he loved it too!). However, I faced a problem. There were countless nursery rhymes and books, but none or very few about Islam. One day, during a nappy changing singing session, 'row, r

ow, row your boat' turned into 'pray, pray, pray, salah'! And that was the start of our debut book FIVE PILLARS: Just To Please Allah! As my son grew, the wording changed until I had drafted Five Pillars and it's sister book, Good Deeds. Many more book ideas developed and are waiting to be brought to life with illustrations. I believe there is a great need for enjoyable and engaging material about Islam geared towards our children. Our aim is to encourage our children - our precious bees - to develop LOVE & ENTHUSIASM for ALLAH & ISLAM. Rabia Bashir

💖 Jazakillahu khairan for sharing your feedback!

All of my books are close to my heart and written with purpose... I see problems in our cultures, our society and find a way to influence change...

When I was growing up, there was pressure from parents to become a doctor, lawyer or engineer. Important jobs, don't get me wrong, but other equally important jobs such as nursing and teaching were not given much value. And forget about going into business! And god forbid you wanted to be an artist (the slipper would probably come out for that!)

Times have changed but some mindsets are still fixed.

I wrote this book to inspire children and parents to embrace the individual skills, characteristics and interests of the child. Rather than push them into careers that do not ignite passion or fulfil them. And teach children the islamic formula for success 🧡

Let Gaza live!! 💔🕊️

As the death toll in Gaza reaches nearly 9000 civilians we ask you to
1) pray for the innocents being killed🤲,
2) donate to Medical Aid for Palestinians💳, and to
3) ask your authorities/political representatives to call for a ceasefire📢.

Of the nearly 9000 dead, a staggering 70% have been women, children and elderly civilians.

‘Gaza has become a ‘graveyard’ for children amid Israeli attacks’ (UN)

‘More children have been killed in Gaza in 3 weeks than in all global conflict annually since 2019’ (Save the Children)

We ask people to please understand this is a catastrophic massacre of innocents we are witnessing - and we cannot just be bystanders.

Almost 50% of Gaza’s 2.3 million population are children. They’re all at risk.

Please. Let them live.💔🤲

They didn’t ‘vote’ for anyone or have any control over politics. Yet they are being punished collectively.

And what of those who are still alive?

‘Doctors are amputating patient children without anaesthesia’ (Channel 4 news)

‘Pregnant women in Gaza are having to undergo c-section deliveries by torchlight and without anaesthetic’ (The Times, i paper, The Telegraph, The BBC, Daily Mail)

‘Thousands of expectant mothers have no medical care and don’t know where they will give birth’ (Al Jazeera)

‘50,000 mothers are pregnant in Gaza, with 5,500 due to give birth within the next 30 days’ (UN)

This is a bleak and urgent crisis.

And it is “growing stain on our collective conscience” (UNICEF)

It is therefore our duty to call for an immediate ceasefire and for sustained and unimpeded access for humanitarian assistance.
