Evidence-based action is at the heart of the HIV response. 🌏✨

UNAIDS Indonesia is proud to support the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in convening the National HIV Estimates and Projections Workshop on 2–6 March 2026.

This vital five-day collaboration brings together technical experts, national stakeholders, and partners including World Health Organization, Avenir Health, and the East-West Center. Together, we are reviewing the latest data to ensure Indonesia’s National Strategic Plan and the upcoming Global Fund GC8 proposal are guided by the most robust epidemiological evidence.

When we understand the epidemic better, we can serve people better. A huge thank you to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and all our technical partners for their commitment to precision and partnership. 🤝📈

Together, UNAIDS and partners are shaping the roadmap to Ending AIDS by 2030.

Securing a sustainable future for Indonesia’s health!✨

One goal, six provinces: A stronger HIV response for Tanah Papua!

On 25–27 February, the UNAIDS Country Office Indonesia supported the Ministry of Health in convening experts, community networks, and healthcare champions for the Joint HIV Program Review for Tanah Papua, with one shared goal: accelerating the HIV response across all six provinces.

A key highlight: strengthening the integration of community-led support for HIV, TB, and malaria to build a more sustainable foundation for the years ahead.

A huge shoutout to our local partners from Papua and PLHIV networks who shared their invaluable insights. Together, we are stronger. 💪

Inspired by the dedication and leadership of the MOH HIV working team and our community partners 💪✨
