We are thrilled to share with you a significant milestone achieved through a powerful collaboration! Mr. Budi Rahayu Toyib, the Assistant Regional II for Economic and Development Affairs of Cianjur District, joined hands with Mr. Edhie Rahmat, the Executive Director of Yayasan Project HOPE, and Mr. Vinayak Kembhavi, the Country Head of LINDE Indonesia, in a momentous meeting on Friday morning, June 9, 2023.
This remarkable event marked the commencement of a transformative journey, as we conducted a signing ceremony to symbolize the handover of crucial assistance to the deserving community. Together, we are bringing hope and making a tangible impact on the lives of those affected.
In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck Sarampad Village in November 2022, the resilient villagers have shown incredible strength and determination in rebuilding their lives. Acknowledging their indomitable spirit, Yayasan Project HOPE and LINDE collaborated to construct fifteen public sanitation facilities and six clean water facilities within the village. These essential resources will not only uplift their spirits but also empower them to maintain their health through improved personal hygiene and a cleaner living environment.
Our collaboration extended beyond infrastructure support. The Limbangansari Health Center, which suffered significant damage, has been provided with a medical emergency tent. This vital healthcare facility now finds solace and strength within the tent, situated in the parking lot of the Cianjur Youth Arena (GGM). Since its establishment in March 2023, the medical emergency tent has been tirelessly serving an average of forty patients per day, ensuring that critical medical care reaches those in need from the surrounding areas.
Additionally, we reached out to the affected communities directly, offering four hundred family packages containing essential hygiene products. These packages, accompanied by medical outreach services, were distributed to resilient individuals residing in three residential areas (RT) within Sarampad Village. Our aim is to alleviate their burdens and ignite hope amidst challenging times.
None of these remarkable achievements would have been possible without the invaluable support of LINDE, a renowned global industrial gases and engineering company dedicated to community betterment. Their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact has played a pivotal role in transforming lives and nurturing resilience within the community. We express our heartfelt gratitude for their continued support.
