Proud to share that our Executive Director, Arief Rabik, will be taking part in the 2026 Skoll World Forum alongside social entrepreneur change leaders working on the world's most urgent challenges.

Join him April 22nd, 10:00–11:45 AM BST for Living Library: Stories of Regeneration — a storytelling session on bamboo, why lasting restoration is rooted in trust and local leadership, and why that same foundation is what drives real investment in the sector.

If you're in Oxford, April 21–24, we'd be thrilled to connect. Or join online for free at skoll.wf/2026virtual.

When landscapes are poorly managed, conflict follows. Some solutions don’t produce value — they restore function. This bamboo is grown to protect, rebuild boundaries, and make coexistence possible. Slide to read more!

This conflict didn’t happen by accident. It is created by poor landscape management. Swipe to read more of it! 🐘

Land degradation from grazing isn’t inevitable — it’s preventable. Silvopastoral systems show that when animals, vegetation, and soil work together, landscapes can regenerate instead of decline.

Bamboo strengthens this system by restoring soil, improving infiltration, supporting livestock fodder, enabling rotational grazing, and creating renewable rural income.

Livestock doesn’t need to degrade the land. With the right systems, they can help restore it.

The rain is natural.
The disaster is not.

Floods become destructive when forests thin, soils degrade, and watersheds lose their strength. This World Soil Day reminds us that it is time to prioritize regeneration because regeneration is not optional. It is survival.

We stand with the communities across Southeast Asia affected by the recent floods — in North & West Sumatra, Aceh, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.

May recovery come safely and may we continue uplifting one another through this difficult time.

We worry about flight emissions — but there’s a bigger climate impact is hidden in plain sight

Aviation accounts for 2–2.5% of global CO₂ emissions.
Cement alone emits ~8% — over 3× more than flight emissions.

But here’s the nuance:

The shift starts with materials. Bamboo doesn’t eliminate cement, but it reduces our dependence on extractive materials. If cities want to regenerate, their materials must too.

Concrete isn’t the enemy — overuse is.

Some buildings could store carbon instead of releasing it. It starts with choosing better materials!🍃
