UI Model United Nations Club

UI Model United Nations Club UI-MUN Club was established on March 1, 2010, and is placed in University of Indonesia, Depok.

University of Indonesia Model United Nations Club (UI-MUN Club) is a student organization that aims to improve students’ diplomacy capacity both substantially and practically, and to proliferate the idea that diplomacy is for everyone. In order to fulfill this vision, UI-MUN club is utilizing MUNs as competition and international conferences as the media to practice and apply the required skills.

MUN is the best vehicle for students to experience the first hand practice of diplomacy and the establishment of the club is essential to guarantee the utmost reward of the event. This club is established to become the new student activity organization (Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa) under the Directorate of Student Affairs University of Indonesia. This club is established also to become a training centre for every student in University of Indonesia who would eventually go to compete in MUNs. UI-MUN Club’s vision is to raise the concern of University of Indonesia students to Model United Nations conferences and will gain many achievements in the competitions.
