World Drug Day 2026

Drug use remains a global public health challenge. According to the UNODC World Drug Report 2026, an estimated 1 in 16 people worldwide used drugs, while 63 million people were living with drug use disorders.

Addressing this challenge requires stronger prevention, treatment, recovery, and evidence-based policies, supported by a skilled and collaborative workforce.
