God is blessing Rev. Fr. Youhanna F. Bestawros through the Diocese of Sydney to enlarging His mission in South East Asia. The mission of the Church has been established in Thailand, and in China. While around year 2016, by the Grace of God, St. Mary of the True Light orphanage, under the NGO Coptic Orthodox Foundation of Indonesia which is part of Diocese of Sydney was established.

It is addressed in Deli Serdang District, North Sumatra. The location only takes up to 1 hour drive from the airport Kualanamu of Medan. After you close to the place, you will see many children enjoying the day after their school. They have many activities other than studies at school. They have very enjoyable prayer together at the Capel in front of the orphanage.

The children came from many towns around North Sumatra. Some of them are orphans since very young, and some of them came from hard family life (economical, and/or social). Because God has seen their needs such as educational, family life, and/or a mother for them. And either to their spiritual needs to be feed so they can come to the kingdom of heaven.

The hard-work of our togetherness synergies with God from the beginning now is starting to flourish. Some children from our orphanage is being called by God as scholar today in other Diocese of Sydney mission, in a Theological College in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Pray for us, pray for our mission in Indonesia. By the intercession of St Mary, and the prayer of the saints, be with us and Glory be to our God forever. In Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
