Pengungsi hidup dari pajak rakyat?
Enggak, itu mitos!

Mayoritas bantuan untuk pengungsi di Indonesia berasal dari donor dan organisasi kemanusiaan internasional, dan dananya pun masih terbatas.

Bahkan bantuan untuk pengungsi ada juga yang berbasis zakat, sedekah, dan donasi berbasis agama, karena dalam beberapa kondisi, pengungsi memang wajib menjadi penerima zakat.

We never forget Palestine. Our hearts remain with the prisoners and hostages held behind Israeli prison walls, enduring conditions the world often ignores.

The stakes have never been higher. With the Knesset passing legislation mandating the death penalty for "nationalistic" offenses, specifically targeting Palestinians, and Israel's long history of unfair convictions, thousands of lives now hang in the balance. This is the systemic erasure of a people.

DO NOT STOP. KEEP BOYCOTTING.

As an organization that follows struggles against injustice worldwide, we believe the only way forward is justice, holistic safety, and prosperity for the people—and humility, responsibility, and fear of God and the people from those “in power.”

We support every effort to transform, reform, and sincerely care for one another for a better Indonesia and a better world.

[refu+school End-of-School Exhibition DAY 1 RECAP]

We kicked off with a super fun opening, where our Jakarta and Cisarua students officially met for the first time! They built friendship with each other and with the guests!

The event started with speeches by Sajjad Faris (Cisarua), Sandy Asaad Karam (Cisarua), Anqaa Badiea (Jakarta), and Osamah Muhis (Jakarta). We also heard some opening remarks from Mba Ria from UNHCR and Fikha from refu+ure Indonesia. Then, we continued with Graduation Ceremony and "exhibition tour" with the students and the guests!

Once again, congraduation for our students! 🥳🥳

Our exhibition is still running on Sat-Sun, 14-15 June 2025, from 10 AM to 8 PM! Please do come and listen to our students' stories! ✨️
