Some talked about knowledge that is slowly fading. Some shared their experiences facing environmental challenges. Others reflected on what it means to speak up, to be heard, and to be part of change.

These conversations didn’t just stay in that room. They were written, illustrated, and brought together into one collective zine.

In a world that often feels too fast, we chose to pause.

Through pieces of paper, fragments of stories, and shared reflections, we created more than just zines—we created space. Space to listen, to remember, and to reconnect with the voices that are often unheard.

Each page holds something personal: memories of local knowledge, questions about our future, and quiet hopes for a more just and sustainable world.

In this zine-making session, we were reminded that storytelling is not just about expression—it is also about resistance, care, and collective action.

Because sometimes, change begins with something simple:
a story, a voice, a page.✨

Cerita kecil bisa jadi awal perubahan🌱

Melalui Tailoring Voices of Women and Collective Action for Biodiversity, perempuan dan orang muda berkumpul dalam satu ruang untuk belajar, berdiskusi, dan berbagi perspektif tentang keterkaitan gender dan biodiversitas. Kegiatan ini menghadirkan diskusi publik, sesi interaktif, hingga lokakarya kreatif zine sebagai medium untuk menerjemahkan pengalaman dan refleksi menjadi bentuk yang lebih personal dan mudah diakses. Dari proses tersebut, peserta tidak hanya memahami isu secara lebih dekat, tetapi juga membangun ruang kolektif untuk menyuarakan pengalaman dan gagasannya.

Hai, GYBN-ers! 🤩✨

Setelah serangkaian upaya memetakan dan mengolah data kontribusi Indonesia dalam implementasi Konvensi Keanekaragaman Hayati (UNCBD), akhirnya Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup sebagai national focal point (NFP) UNCBD menggelar konsultasi publik "Laporan Nasional ke-7 Implementasi Konvensi Keanekaragaman Hayati" dan GYBN Indonesia menjadi salah satu mitra yang diundang untuk mempresentasikan bagian orang muda.

Kami tidak mengklaim bahwa data yang kami presentasikan sudah merepresentasikan keseluruhan kontribusi orang muda di Indonesia. Kami menyadari bahwa masih banyak kegiatan-kegiatan yang belum terekam karena keterbatasan kami. Oleh karena itu, GYBN Indonesia ingin mengundang komunitas orang muda lainnya untuk turut berkolaborasi dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan sehingga target-target nasional dan global bisa tercapai.
