B_Trust was inspired by a big hope to respond a challenge of re-building Public TRUST to governance. One of the great challenges being faced by the community during transition period was trust degradation between individuals and groups within the community, between community and government, between community and political institutions, and even among government institutions. The low level of trust
deteriorated community capacity to be engaged in public domains and that had encouraged malpractices of authority by public institutions. One of the underlying reasons for this lack of trust was misinformation. Several strategies need to be developed to build communication mechanism and sincere information exchange. This can be incited through community involvement, including women, marginal groups and private sectors at diverse public domains. Inclusive and pluralistic economic and democracy will be dependent upon trust level being built between political institutions, individuals and groups interest within the community. To respond to this challenge, B_Trust was established. In its journey, B_Trust keeps analyzing current situation, conducting campaign for change, proposing new leadership – male or female, and taking practical actions to push innovative process in accomplishing trust based democratic governanceand righteous economic at local level.
