Kul Kul Connection

Kul Kul Connection Kul Kul Connection is a group of Green School stakeholders that develops and maintains sustainable connections between international and local community.

Kul kul connection was born from the images in John Hardy's 'My Green School Dream" TED talk. What is presented in that talk is an integrated community of learners, where local and international meet to create a symbiosis in the Balinese jungle. It’s a union that has potential to resonate to the world beyond the GS campus borders. So Kul Kul Connection was born about 5 years ago, as a bridge aimed

to engage locals with internationals vice versa. It’s an effort to blur the boundaries that often so emphasized in this one island two worlds dynamic. It is an exploration of the potential of unity. And as KKC matures, we learn more and more about the myriad of ways that connection can bring us closer to our goal of making our world sustainable as an integrated community of learners. Through this page we'll share our story to you and introduce you to more than 500 individuals that are in some way engaged with or contributing to Kul Kul Connection. We hope that by following our story, you will reach a greater understanding of how this experiment in community integration is unfolding. And by knowing, it is our wish that each of you in the audience today would find your own open door to engage with Kul Kul Connection, whether you are presently part of the GS community or not.
