Recycle. Redeem. Repeat! ♻️📦

Last Friday, our ZeroWaste Center was buzzing! Local community members traded in their household recyclables for coupons to pick up groceries, rice, eggs, and essential supplies at our quarterly ZeroWaste Bazaar.

Huge shoutout to everyone who pre-sorted their waste and proved that sustainable habits truly pay off for both the planet and our neighborhood! 🌏🌾

What happens when 30 students from Bali WISE Intake 66, 20 eager kids from SD No. 3 Tuban , and our awesome volunteers from CUCA | Tapas • Cocktails • Desserts team up? Pure magic! ✨

Together, our crew removed over 237 kg of trash (including 50+ kg of dangerous glass bottles!) from Kelan Beach, sorted it all at the ZeroWaste Center, and ran our quarterly community charity bazaar where locals trade collected waste for groceries and supplies! 🌾📚

What an incredible surge of energy at SD 3 Mengwitani during our team's recent visit! The students brought so much enthusiasm to learning about different types of waste and discovering how to make rich organic compost. Empowering the next generation of eco-warriors with hands-on waste management skills is truly at the heart of what we do—thank you, SD 3 Mengwi, for playing a ROLE in protecting our planet! 🍃✨

Teamwork truly turns the tide! On May 15th, 60 amazing eco-warriors, including the bright students from SD 6 Pecatu, our Bali WISE students, and dedicated volunteers, joined forces to clean up the iconic Kedonganan Beach Fish Market.

Instead of just picking up litter, the team got their hands dirty learning the real-world science of waste management by sorting everything they collected:

🍾 ~30 kg of Glass Bottles & 17.2% Hard Plastics saved and sent for recycling!

🛑 Over 50% Residual Waste safely removed from the ecosystem and sent to the landfill.

All collected debris was transported to our ZeroWaste Center for processing.

Are you ready to get your hands dirty to keep our oceans clean? Now is your chance to fight plastic pollution head-on. We are looking for volunteers to join our next mission at the Kedonganan Beach!
