Join the ZeroWaste Center team as we come together for our monthly beach cleanup to kick off the morning with high energy, great company, and a massive shared mission to keep our coastlines pristine. 🏝️💪

Teamwork truly turns the tide! On May 15th, 60 amazing eco-warriors, including the bright students from SD 6 Pecatu, our Bali WISE students, and dedicated volunteers, joined forces to clean up the iconic Kedonganan Beach Fish Market.

Instead of just picking up litter, the team got their hands dirty learning the real-world science of waste management by sorting everything they collected:

🍾 ~30 kg of Glass Bottles & 17.2% Hard Plastics saved and sent for recycling!

🛑 Over 50% Residual Waste safely removed from the ecosystem and sent to the landfill.

All collected debris was transported to our ZeroWaste Center for processing.

On 6 February 2026, a Beach Clean Up activity was conducted at Kelan Beach in collaboration with SD Negeri 4 Ungasan and . This activity aimed to raise awareness of the importance of coastal environmental conservation, particularly among young generations.

During the activity, more than 230 kilograms of waste were successfully collected, highlighting the ongoing issue of coastal pollution and the urgent need for collective and sustained environmental action.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to .co and Miss Fish Bali for their support and for serving as sponsors of this Beach Clean Up activity. Special thanks are extended to Miss Fish Bali for their additional contribution in the form of personal hygiene donations for Bali WISE students, as well as small gifts for the students of SD Negeri 4 Ungasan.

On 13 February 2026, ZeroWaste Center organized a Speech Contest about environmental issues in celebration of the month of love. The participants were not only students from Bali WISE, but also students from Cendikia Harapan. Together, they shared their ideas and concerns about the environment through meaningful and inspiring speeches.

In this contest, the participants discussed important topics such as floods, water pollution, climate change, waste management, and the impact of environmental damage on our daily lives. Each speaker delivered their message with a different perspective, but they all shared the same goal: to raise awareness that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility.

The month of love is usually associated with gifts like chocolate and flowers for the people we care about. However, this event reminded us that the environment also deserves a special gift from us. That gift can be shown through simple but consistent actions, such as throwing trash in the proper place, reducing single-use plastic, sorting waste, saving water and electricity, using eco-friendly transportation, planting and caring for trees, and avoiding illegal logging.

This Speech Contest became a reminder that loving the earth is not only about words, but also about real actions in our daily lives. By taking care of the environment, we are also protecting our future together.

On January 23, 2026, ZeroWaste Center conducted a Beach Clean Up at Kedonganan Beach as part of our commitment to protecting the coastal environment. Supported by R.O.L.E. Foundation staff, Bali WISE students, SD 6 Benoa students, and other volunteers, this activity successfully collected 1.1 tons of waste, mostly plastic and other harmful materials.

We would like to say thank you to all volunteers for their dedication and teamwork. Special thanks to for providing reusable bottles to the top waste collectors, and to .co for sponsoring this Beach Clean Up and supporting our environmental efforts.

On January 22, 2026, we collaborated with for a beach clean-up activity at Kelan Beach, Bali, bringing together volunteers who care about protecting our coastal environment.

Together, we collected 359.15 kg of waste, supporting responsible waste management and helping keep our beach clean.
