🌍 Career orientation works best when education, employers, and policymakers work together.

In the Pannon Skills project, career guidance is strengthened by connecting VET providers, educators, employers/industry stakeholders, and policy stakeholders — so career orientation can be developed with real labour market perspectives in mind.
💼 By involving these actors together, the project supports approaches that bring dual vocational education closer to labour market realities, and helps map employability trends and good practices in career orientation.

✨ A coordinated effort like this can strengthen pathways from education to employment — especially in vocational education and training.

🚀At the Pannon Skills Local Employment Forum, representatives of the HoReCa sector and VET institutions worked side by side to ensure that career orientation and training truly reflect current labour market expectations.

Employers validated the research findings, provided feedback on occupational profiles, and contributed to shaping content so that the developed materials are grounded in real industry needs within the HoReCa sector.🔍✅

The Forum also strengthened the network of hosting companies: participating businesses are preparing to mentor selected learners within the project’s multi-occupation apprenticeship model.🤝
These structured dialogues reinforce cooperation between education and industry, supporting young people’s employability while contributing to local economic development.

💚 The Green Matters project brought together learning, reflection, and connection in a safe and inspiring space. Participants explored sustainability through creative activities, discussions, and practical exercises, linking environmental issues with social justice, emotions, and everyday choices.

The experience empowered young people to see sustainability as conscious action and cooperation, not perfection. The journey continues beyond the training - and we brought you the aftermovie to relive it. 🎬🌍

Young people today think much more flexibly about their careers: they switch faster, want to try themselves in different roles, and vocational education and training needs to adapt to this reality.

That is why Pannon Skills project is testing an innovation in the HoReCa sector: a multi-occupation apprenticeship model, where learners gain experience in three different positions over 54 days—encountering different tasks, workplace cultures, and expectations along the way. 🧑‍🍳➡️🛎️➡️🍽️

Our goal is to help young people find the role that fits them best, while building flexible, transversal skills that allow them to enter the labour market with greater confidence. 💡🎯

Day 1 of our Erasmus+ Training Course “Green Matters” is officially started! 🌱

Today was all about connection and creating a safe space for learning and sharing. Through energisers and interactive games, participants got to know each other and built connections in no time. We also explored creativity through an activity where everyone drew the best day of their life, combining past experiences and future dreams to express personal values, motivations, and hopes.

In the second part of the day, participants reflected on their expectations, contributions, and fears connected to the training. We then started working on the first challenges of the “Mission (IM)possible”, including a playful moment where we expressed the meaning of Erasmus+ with our own bodies. The journey has just begun, but the positive energy is already there. “Green Matters” is off to a great start, with exciting days of learning and action ahead! 🌍💚
