On the next day the BIO-VET Biodynamic Agricultural Forum moved beyond discussions and into the communities where sustainable agriculture is part of everyday life. 🌍🌱

The delegates continued their journey across Covasna County, discovering how local authorities, farmers and innovators are working together to build resilient agricultural systems. From meetings with municipal representatives in Târgu Secuiesc to visits to local dairy and sheep farms, participants explored how collaboration, entrepreneurship and practical knowledge can strengthen rural development and create new opportunities for future generations.

One of the highlights of the day was learning about the municipality's biomass-based heating system, an inspiring example of how renewable energy and local resources can contribute to more sustainable communities. The discussions demonstrated that innovation is not only found in laboratories or large companies, it also emerges through practical local solutions that improve everyday life. 🌿💡

The day concluded with a memorable bear-watching experience, offering participants the chance to experience the rich natural heritage of the region and reflecting an important message of the BIO-VET project: agriculture, biodiversity and local communities are deeply connected. 🐻🌲

Every visit, every conversation and every shared experience reinforced the same idea: meaningful innovation begins when people come together with a common vision for a more sustainable future. 🤝

The participants a day earlier were traveled thousands of kilometres but yesterday, they were sitting around the same table in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania 🇷🇴 with one shared purpose: exploring how innovation can help shape the future of agricultur and its vocational education. 🌍🤝

Following a long journey from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱, Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Ghana 🇬🇭, the delegates officially opened the BIO-VET Biodynamic Agricultural Forum, beginning several days of dialogue, learning and collaboration. The morning brought together country presentations and expert contributions, creating an open space to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges and discover opportunities for stronger cooperation.

In the afternoon, the conversations moved beyond the conference room. Participants visited TIMATE SRL and the Sepsi Charolais Farm, where they explored modern farming techniques, sustainable production methods and practical innovations already making a difference in the agricultural sector. 🚜🐄

What became clear throughout the day was that innovation is not only about technology, it is also about people, partnerships and the willingness to learn from one another. And that is exactly what the BIO-VET Forum is all about. 🌱💡

🌍 Career orientation works best when education, employers, and policymakers work together.

In the Pannon Skills project, career guidance is strengthened by connecting VET providers, educators, employers/industry stakeholders, and policy stakeholders — so career orientation can be developed with real labour market perspectives in mind.
💼 By involving these actors together, the project supports approaches that bring dual vocational education closer to labour market realities, and helps map employability trends and good practices in career orientation.

✨ A coordinated effort like this can strengthen pathways from education to employment — especially in vocational education and training.

🚀At the Pannon Skills Local Employment Forum, representatives of the HoReCa sector and VET institutions worked side by side to ensure that career orientation and training truly reflect current labour market expectations.

Employers validated the research findings, provided feedback on occupational profiles, and contributed to shaping content so that the developed materials are grounded in real industry needs within the HoReCa sector.🔍✅

The Forum also strengthened the network of hosting companies: participating businesses are preparing to mentor selected learners within the project’s multi-occupation apprenticeship model.🤝
These structured dialogues reinforce cooperation between education and industry, supporting young people’s employability while contributing to local economic development.

As part of the Pannon Skills project, the Local Employment Forum brought together local employers and VET stakeholders to strengthen the connection between education and the labour market.

The BIO-VET project officially launched with its kick-off meeting in Accra, Ghana, bringing together consortium partners and key stakeholders from Europe and Africa 🌍.

The meeting established a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, structure, and implementation approach, while strengthening cooperation among vocational education and training (VET) actors 🤝.

Key sessions focused on introducing partners and their roles, presenting the project’s objectives and expected outcomes, and exchanging expertise between African and European organisations. The BIO-VET project overview highlighted its contribution to innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation in VET 🌱.

The official opening included welcoming remarks from project and institutional representatives, followed by structured working sessions on project activities, strategic alignment, and monitoring, evaluation, and reporting 📊. A study visit provided practical insights into local VET practices and opportunities for future cooperation.

Overall, the kick-off meeting laid the foundations for effective coordination and implementation, defining the next steps for project delivery. Through BIO-VET, the consortium aims to support the modernisation and internationalisation of vocational education and training, fostering sustainable and innovation-driven collaboration between Europe and Africa 🚀.

💚 The Green Matters project brought together learning, reflection, and connection in a safe and inspiring space. Participants explored sustainability through creative activities, discussions, and practical exercises, linking environmental issues with social justice, emotions, and everyday choices.
