Dear Friends and Colleagues,
After two years of international exchange of experiences and development of practical educational tools, the Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnership NFL on the Run (2023-2-DE-04-KA220-YOU-000175615) project has reached its final stage.
Our project brought together organisations from five European countries such as Germany, Slovenia, Italy, Hungary and Serbia with a shared goal: to strengthen the quality of youth work through non-formal learning, innovative educational approaches and cooperation across different professional fields working with young people.
But the end of the project does not mean the end of its results. Our partnership, Jugendkulturarbeit EV from Germany, Zavod Ambitia, Zavod za razvoj neformalnega učenja from Slovenia, Daj Mi Ruku from Serbia, Studio Progetto Societa Cooperativa Sociale from Italy and YOPA from Hungary would like to invite youth workers, trainers, facilitators, volunteers and youth organisations across Europe to discover, use and share the resources developed through NFL on the Run.
WHAT CAN YOU USE IN YOUR YOUTH WORK?
Navigation Cards
An innovative educational tool supporting critical thinking, self-reflection, problem solving and decision-making. The cards can be integrated into individual or group activities and adapted to different youth work settings.
Methods & Workshops
A collection of practical non-formal learning approaches, methods and workshop formats developed and tested during the project. They are designed so that youth workers can adapt and use them directly in their everyday work with young people.
NFL on the Run Podcasts
The podcast series explores how professionals from different fields work with young people. Their experiences and approaches provide inspiration for youth workers and create opportunities for reflection, comparison and professional learning.
Online Training Course
A self-paced online course available through the HOP Learning Platform, bringing together project results, resources and practical tools in one accessible learning environment.
WHY NFL ON THE RUN?
Young people learn everywhere – not only in schools and classrooms.
They learn through participation, relationships, challenges, creativity, sport, culture, community activities and everyday experiences.
NFL on the Run explored these different learning environments and brought together experiences from youth work and other professional fields in order to create resources that can help youth workers make learning more meaningful, participatory and inclusive.
The project promotes non-formal learning, social inclusion and equal opportunities while strengthening the skills and confidence of professionals working with young people.
NOW IT IS YOUR TURN TO USE THE RESULTS
We invite youth workers, NGOs, youth centres, trainers, educators and organisations working with young people to explore the NFL on the Run resources and integrate them into their activities.
Use a Navigation Card during a reflection session.
Try one of the methods with your youth group.
Listen to a podcast with your team and discuss different approaches to youth work.
Complete the online course as part of your professional development.
Share the resources with colleagues and partner organisations.
Most importantly: adapt them to the young people you work with and bring non-formal learning to life in your own community.
