Official Statement from ISUS Regarding The International Cultural Evening (ICE)
Dear students,
We regret to inform you that the International Cultural Evening (ICE) will not be held this
year.
This follows an official decision by the University, taken in light of the current global
circumstances and the sensitivity of the present international situation.
While ICE has always been one of the most important events for our student community, the decision was made at an institutional level after evaluating the broader context surrounding this year’s event.
As much as we had hoped to organize ICE this year, certain factors beyond the
control of ISUS required that this decision be taken seriously and responsibly.
We know how much this event means to many students. ICE has always been a unique
opportunity to celebrate cultures, share traditions, and strengthen the bonds within our
international community, which is why we understand that this news will be disappointing.
As ISUS, we also share this disappointment, especially knowing the excitement and effort
students put into preparing for such an event.
At the same time, our commitment to
student life remains unchanged, and we will continue working on other activities that bring
students together and maintain the spirit of connection that ICE has always represented.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
