🚗🔌🔋CROSS-EV tanulmányút Bécsben

2026. június 9-én a CROSS-EV projekt partnerei az Austriatech bécsi székhelyén gyűltek össze egy eredményes tanulmányútra, amelynek középpontjában az együttműködés, a tudáscsere és a töltőinfrastruktúra jövője állt.🚙🔋

A délelőtt üdvözlő beszédekkel és a részt vevő intézmények – AustriaTech / OLÉ, REA Sjever, VIDRA Agencija za regionalni razvoj Virovitičko podravske županije és a CROST – rövid bemutatkozásával kezdődött, amelyek során mindegyik intézmény ismertette fő tevékenységi területeit, szakértelmét és jelenlegi tevékenységeit.

Juci Schäffer, a CROST munkatársa bemutatta az összes magyar partnert (Gyékényes és Vízvár Önkormányzatát).
Ezt követően részletesebben bemutatták a projektet, megvitatva annak hatókörét, céljait, ütemtervét, legfontosabb kihívásait és a folyamatban lévő munkákat.

🔌🚗Ezt követően egy külön ülés következett, amely az OLÉ szemszögéből tárgyalta a töltőinfrastruktúra bővítésének támogatását, beleértve az OLÉ szerepét és megbízatását, az OLÉ és a minisztérium kapcsolódó tevékenységeit, a finanszírozási intézkedéseket, a támogatási programokat, valamint az elemzési és monitoring munkát. Az esemény nyílt vitával és eszmecserével zárult, teret adva az értékes párbeszédnek a partnerek között.

A tanulmányút megerősítette a határokon átnyúló együttműködést, és inspiráló keretet biztosított a tapasztalatok megosztásához és a közös célok összehangolásához a CROSS-EV partnerség keretében.

🚗🔌🔋 CROSS-EV Study Visit in Vienna

On 9 June 2026, partners of the CROSS-EV project gathered at AustriaTech headquarters in Vienna for a productive study visit focused on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the future of charging infrastructure. 🚙🔋

The morning opened with welcome remarks and short introductions from the participating institutions — AustriaTech / OLÉ, Regional Energy Agency North (REA Sjever), VIDRA (Virovitica-Podravina County's Development Regional Agency), and CROST Nonprofit Ltd. — each sharing their main focus areas, expertise, and current activities.
Judit Schäffer, representing CROST, introduced all the Hungarian partners ( Municipality of Gyékényes and Vízvár).
The project was then presented in more detail, with discussion on its scope, objectives, timeline, key challenges, and ongoing work.

🔌🚗 A dedicated session followed on supporting the expansion of charging infrastructure from the OLÉ perspective, including its role and mandate, related activities by OLÉ and the ministry, funding measures, support schemes, and analytical and monitoring work. The event concluded with an open discussion and exchange, creating space for valuable dialogue among partners.

The study visit strengthened cross-border cooperation and provided an inspiring setting for sharing experiences and aligning on common goals within the CROSS-EV partnership.

Mohácson megrendezésre került az E-WATER projekt indító találkozója, amely hivatalosan is elindította a magyar és horvát partnerek közös munkáját a középületek dekarbonizációja és elektrifikációja érdekében. A találkozó az Interreg VI-A Magyarország-Horvátország Együttműködési Program 2021-2027 keretében megvalósuló projekt első fontos mérföldköve volt, és jól mutatta, hogy az együttműködés célja nem csupán az energiahatékonyság javítása, hanem a határon átnyúló szakmai tudásmegosztás és a fenntartható középület-üzemeltetés előmozdítása is. A program a partnerek érkezésével kezdődött, majd köszöntőt mondott Pávkovics Gábor, Mohács város polgármestere, ezt követően pedig a Partnerek bemutatták a projekt fő tevékenységeit és ütemezését, áttekintették a menedzsment-, beszámolási és kommunikációs feladatokat, végül pedig helyszíni bejárásra került sor a mohácsi projektterületen. Az E-WATER projekt célja, hogy a középületek szén-dioxid-kibocsátása csökkenjen az elektrifikáció, valamint a geotermikus és napenergia-alapú megoldások alkalmazása révén, különös tekintettel a felszín alatti vizes hőszivattyús rendszerekre. A projekt egyik kiemelt eleme a mohácsi Selyemgyár Kulturális Negyed fejlesztése, ahol egy innovatív hőszivattyús rendszer és kapcsolódó energetikai korszerűsítés segíthetik a fenntarthatóbb működést. A partnerség 2026. május 1. és 2028. április 30. között valósítja meg a közös szakmai munkát, amelyben jó gyakorlatok feltárása, képzési anyagok kidolgozása, szakmai rendezvények is szerepelnek a pilot beruházások mellett (Mohács, Varasd). A mohácsi találkozó így nem csak egy formális induló esemény volt, hanem olyan szakmai fórum is, amely megalapozta a következő két év közös feladatait, és kijelölte azokat a lépéseket, amelyek révén a projekt kézzelfogható eredményeket hozhat Mohácsnak és a határ menti régiónak is.

The E-WATER project kick-off meeting was held in Mohács, officially launching the joint efforts of Hungarian and Croatian partners to decarbonize and electrify public buildings. The meeting marked the first major milestone of the collaboration under the Interreg VI-A Hungary-Croatia Programme 2021-2027 and clearly demonstrated that the project’s goal is not only to improve energy efficiency but also to promote cross-border professional knowledge sharing and sustainable public building management. The program began with the arrival of the partners, followed by opening remarks from Gábor Pávkovics, Mayor of Mohács. Subsequently, the project’s main activities and schedule were presented, management, reporting, and communication tasks were reviewed, and finally, a site visit took place at the project site in Mohács. The goal of E-WATER project is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from public buildings through electrification and the use of geothermal and solar energy solutions, with a particular focus on groundwater heat pump systems. A key component of the project is the development of the Silk Factory Cultural Quarter in Mohács, where an innovative heat pump system and related energy upgrades can help ensure more sustainable operations. The partnership will carry out its joint professional work between May 1, 2026, and April 30, 2028, which will include project identification of best practices, development of training materials, professional events, parallel to the pilot investments in Mohács and Varaždin. The meeting in Mohács was thus not merely a formal kick-off event, but also a professional forum that laid the groundwork for the joint tasks of the next two years and outlined the steps through which the project can deliver tangible results for both Mohács and the border region.

Danube GeoHeCo zárókonferencia Újvidéken, 2026. május 20-án

A Danube GeoHeCo projekt zárókonferenciáján, a projekt főbb kimeneteinek bemutatása mellett, számos, a geotermia hasznosításával kapcsolatos szakpolitikai kérdés is napirendre került: az Európai Bizottság részéről Jakab Marianna, az Európai Hőszivattyú Szövetség részéről Milagros Garcia Salciarini mutatta be a jelenlegi szakpolitikai kereteket és a továbbfejlesztési lehetőségeket. A projekt keretében elkészült, a sekély geotermia hasznosításának elősegítését célzó transznacionális akciótervet Márton György, a CROST Nonprofit Ltd. ügyvezetője mutatta be. A rendezvény végén panelbeszélgetésre került sor a sekély geotermia alkalmazásának jövőjéről, melyen, a projektpartnerek képviselőin kívül, részt vett az EGEC (Európai Geotermikus Energia Tanács) kutatás és fejlesztési munkacsoportjának tagja is.

Danube GeoHeCo final conference in Novi Sad, 20 May 2026

At the final conference of the Danube GeoHeCo project – in addition to presenting the main outputs of the project – a number of policy issues have been put on the agenda, on the utilisation of geothermal energy. Marianna Jakab from the European Commission and Milagros Garcia Salciarini from the European Heat Pump Association presented the current policy framework and the opportunities for further development. The transnational action plan for the promotion of the utilisation of shallow geothermal energy, prepared within the framework of the project, was presented by György Márton, managing director of CROST Nonprofit Ltd. At the end of the event, a panel discussion was held on the future of shallow geothermal energy applications, which was also attended, in addition to project partners, by the R&D task force member of the EGEC (European Geothermal Energy Council).

Elnéptelenedő vidéki térségek fejlesztését célzó jó gyakorlatok megismerése Creuse megyében (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Franciaország) 🌍
A CASPER Interreg Europe projekt következő tanulmányútjára 2026. május 19–21. között került sor a Nouvelle-Aquitaine régióban található Creuse megyében 📅, ahol a résztvevők a „La Fabrique de Limousin” program keretében támogatott vidékfejlesztési akciókkal ismerkedtek meg. A térség kisvárosai, Felletin és Aubusson a hagyományos mesterségekre (kőfaragás, kézi készítésű faliszőttesek) épülő kreatív ipar és idegenforgalom központjai. Bellegarde-en-Marche önkormányzata az orvosok önkéntes munkájára épülő orvosi ellátást szervezett az orvoshiány kezelésére 🏥. Faux-la-Montagne, mint pár száz fős kistelepülés, a helyi ingatlanállomány megóvását célzó vállalkozást működtet és képzést biztosít az ingatlanfelújítást végző beköltözőknek 🏠.
A France Active munkatársai bemutatták a „La Fabrique de Limousin” programon keresztül elérhető támogatási formákat és a forráskoordináció módszerét 💶.

Learning about good practices for the development of depopulated rural areas in the department of Creuse (Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France) 🌍
The next study visit of the CASPER Interreg Europe project took place between 19 and 21 May 2026 📅 in the department of Creuse in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, where the participants learned about rural development actions supported by the "La Fabrique de Limousin" programme. The small towns of Felletin and Aubusson are centres of creative industry and tourism based on traditional crafts (stonemasonry, handmade tapestry). The municipality of Bellegarde-en-Marche has organised medical care based on the voluntary work of doctors to deal with the shortage of medical staff 🏥. Faux-la-Montagne, as a small municipality of a few hundred people, operates a business aimed at protecting the local real estate stock and provides training for those moving in to renovate a property 🏠.
The staff of France Active presented the forms of support available through the "La Fabrique de Limousin" programme and the method of coordination of resources 💶.

📆2026. április 14–16. között került megrendezésre a TRANSGEO Zárókonferencia Bécsben, a Bécsi Közgazdaságtudományi Egyetemen, ahol projektpartnerek, szakértők, érintett szereplők és egyetemi vendégek találkoztak. A háromnapos rendezvény kiváló lehetőséget teremtett arra, hogy a résztvevők áttekintsék a TRANSGEO projekt eredményeit, valamint megvitassák a geotermikus energia európai jövőjét. 🌍
📚A program szakmai workshopokat, stratégiai egyeztetéseket, technikai előadásokat és helyszíni tanulmányutakat ötvözött, ezzel valódi fórumot biztosítva az együttműködésre és a tudásmegosztásra. A konferencia megvalósíthatósági tanulmányokat bemutató szekcióval indult, ahol több európai térség innovatív geotermikus projektjeit ismertették, majd belső projektmegbeszélések következtek a végső eredményekről, a jövőbeli együttműködésekről és a hosszú távú hatásokról.
💡A rendezvény egyik legfontosabb eleme a TRANSGEO projekt eredményeinek bemutatása volt. Az előadások során szó esett mérnöki munkafolyamatokról, proof-of-concept tanulmányokról, megvalósíthatósági elemzésekről, geotermikus adatbázisokról, kútelemző eszközökről, kritériumrendszerekről és a határokon átnyúló újrahasznosítási lehetőségekről. ⚙️♻️🔍 Mindez jól szemléltette, hogyan alakítható át a meglévő infrastruktúra fenntartható geotermikus energiaforrássá.
🚌 A résztvevők két szakmai tanulmányút keretében a gyakorlatban is megismerhették a geotermikus innovációkat. Az egyik helyszín Bécs Seestadt városrészének mélygeotermikus pilotprojektje volt, ahol új kutak fejlesztésével több ezer háztartás fenntartható fűtését készítik elő. A másik látogatás a Grüner Prater térség sekély geotermikus rendszerét mutatta be, ahol korszerű fűtési és hűtési megoldásokat alkalmaznak lakóingatlanok számára.
🎡🎢 A szakmai program mellett a közös vacsorák és a Praterben megrendezett kapcsolatépítő est kiváló lehetőséget biztosítottak új partnerségek kialakítására és a nemzetközi együttműködés erősítésére.
A TRANSGEO Zárókonferencia sikeresen bemutatta a projekt hozzájárulását Európa tisztaenergia-átmenetéhez, és megerősítette, hogy a geotermikus energia gyakorlati, skálázható és jövőbe mutató megoldást jelent.


📆From 14 16 April 2026, the TRANSGEO Final Conference brought together project partners, experts, stakeholders, and academic guests in Vienna, Austria, at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Over three dynamic days, participants reviewed the achievements of the TRANSGEO project and explored the future of geothermal energy solutions across Europe. 🌍
📚The programme combined expert workshops, strategic meetings, technical presentations, and site visits, creating an unique platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange. The conference opened with feasibility study sessions highlighting innovative geothermal projects from several European regions, followed by internal coordination meetings focused on final project outputs, future cooperation, and long-term impact.
💡 A major highlight of the event was the Final Conference showcase, where attendees were introduced to the key results of TRANSGEO. Presentations covered engineering workflows, proof-of-concept studies, feasibility analyses, geothermal databases, well evaluation tools, criteria catalogues, and transnational repurpose potential. ⚙️♻️🔍 These sessions demonstrated how existing infrastructure can be transformed into sustainable geothermal energy assets.
🚌 The conference also offered participants the opportunity to experience geothermal innovation first-hand through two technical excursions. Visitors toured Vienna s deep geothermal pilot project in Seestadt, where new wells are being developed to provide sustainable heating for thousands of households. A second excursion focused on shallow geothermal systems in the Grüner Prater area, showcasing modern heating and cooling solutions for residential developments.
🎡🎢 Beyond the professional programme, networking events including shared dinners and an icebreaker evening at the iconic Prater created valuable opportunities for building new partnerships and strengthening international cooperation.
The TRANSGEO Final Conference successfully highlighted the project s contribution to Europe s clean energy transition and reinforced the importance of geothermal energy as a practical, scalable, and future-oriented solution.

2026. március 26-án került sor az InnoCoop- Interreg Europe projektünk második regionális munkacsoport találkozójára, Kaposváron. A Vezető Partner, Somogy Társadalmi Felemelkedéséért Nonprofit Kft. rendezésében megvalósuló eseményen bemutattuk a decemberi litvániai tanulmányút tapasztalatait és a K+F intenzív szektor együttműködéseit vizsgáló kutatásunk eredményeit.

Tartalmas fókuszcsoport megbeszélés keretében a résztvevőkkel közösen körvonalaztuk a Somogy vármegyében működő kis- és középvállalkozások kihívásait az innovációs együttműködések terén, és ötleteket gyűjtöttünk a lehetséges megoldások tekintetében.

The second regional working group meeting of our InnoCoop - Interreg Europe project took place on March 26, 2026, in Kaposvár. At the event, organized by the Leading Partner, Social Ascension of Somogy Nonprofit Ltd., we presented the experiences of the study trip to Lithuania and the results of our research examining collaborations in the R&D intensive sector.

In a meaningful focus group discussion, we outlined the challenges of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in Somogy county in the field of innovation collaborations together with the participants and collected ideas for possible solutions.

🎯 Geotermikus együttműködések a fókuszban!

Sikeres munkacsoport-ülést és workshopot tartottunk 2026. március 24-én Budapesten, a Külgazdasági és Külügyminisztériumban, ahol a geotermikus transznacionális együttműködések erősítése állt a középpontban.

A rendezvényen bemutattuk a TRANSGEO projekt Transznacionális Stratégiáját és Akciótervét, a Danube GeoHeCo projekt transznacionális akciótervét, valamint egy új, innovatív IT-eszközt, amely a felhagyott szénhidrogénkutak újrahasznosítási potenciálját méri fel — ezt Dr. Fedor Ferenc ismertette.

Emellett a CROST Nonprofit Ltd. munkatársai bemutatták a Danube GeoHeCo projekt keretében készült digitális platformot, melynek célja a sekély geotermia alkalmazásában a kereslet és kínálati oldal összekapcsolása. Végül az InnoGeo Nonprofit Kft. a szegedi pilótaberuházás eredményeit osztotta meg a résztvevőkkel.

Az esemény további szervezői voltak a Külgazdasági és Külügyminisztérium, a Pécsi Tudományegyetem (PTE), illetve a Bányavagyon-hasznosító Nonprofit Közhasznú Kft. (BVH).

🎯 Focus on Geothermal Cooperation!
On March 24, 2026 we held a successful working group meeting and workshop in Budapest at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where the focus was on strengthening transnational cooperation in geothermal energy utilisation.
At the event, Transnational Strategy and Action Plan of the TRANSGEO project, as well as the Transnational Action Plan of the Danube GeoHeCo project was presented. This was followed by the introduction of the IT tool that assesses the reuse potential of abandoned hydrocarbon wells, by Dr. Ferenc Fedor.

In addition, CROST Nonprofit Ltd. staff presented the digital platform of the Danube GeoHeCo project for bringing together supply and demand side actors in shallow geothermal energy utilisation. Finally, InnoGeo Nonprofit Ltd. shared the results of the Szeged pilot project with the participants.

Other organizers of the program included the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the University of Pécs (PTE) and Bányavagyon-hasznosító Nonprofit Kft. (BVH)

Új határon átnyúló energetikai projekt Sellye és Lipik közreműködésével

A CROST Nonprofit Ltd. által vezetett, a Sellye Város Önkormányzata és a horvátországi Lipiki Gyógyfürdő (Toplice Lipik) részvételével megvalósuló GeoWasteHeat projekt 2026. márciusában indult, az Interreg VI-A Magyarország-Horvátország határon átnyúló együttműködési program támogatásával. Az első partnertalálkozót 2026. március 18-án tartották Sellyén. A projekt célja Sellye és Lipik széndioxid-kibocsátásának csökkentése, a városokban található termálfürdőkben keletkező elfolyó termálvíz hulladékhőjének hasznosításával. A találkozón a résztvevők megtekintették a sellyei projekthelyszíneket: a városi termálfürdőt, valamint pár, a leendő fűtési rendszerre köthető közintézményt. Ezt követően áttekintették a projektben megvalósuló tevékenységeket. A projekt első fázisában adatgyűjtés, jó gyakorlatok beazonosítása történik a teljes határtérségre vonatkozóan. Ezt követően elkészül a két fűtési rendszer modernizálását vizsgáló megvalósíthatósági tanulmány. A projekt második évében kerül sor a két létesítményre vonatkozó részletes műszaki tervek elkészítésére. A projekt 2028. februárjában zárul.

New cross-border energy project with Sellye and Lipik

The GeoWasteHeat project, led by CROST Nonprofit Ltd. with the participation of the Town of Sellye and the Lipik Thermal Bath (Toplice Lipik) in Croatia, was launched in March 2026 with the support of the Interreg VI-A Hungary-Croatia cross-border cooperation programme. The first partner meeting was held on 18 March 2026 in Sellye. The aim of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Sellye and Lipik, by utilising the waste heat of the effluent thermal water from the spas of the partner towns. At the meeting, the participants visited the project sites in Sellye: the local thermal bath and a few public institutions connected to the future heating system. Then the partners reviewed the activities to be implemented. In the first phase of the project data will be collected and good practices will be identified for the entire border region. After that feasibility studies will be elaborated to examine the modernisation of the two heating systems. In the second year of the project, detailed technical documentations will be prepared for both facilities. The project will end in February 2028.

Örömmel osztjuk meg a Transgeo projekt keretében készült Megvalósíthatósági tanulmányról szóló cikket, melyben a CROST Nonprofit Ltd. is közreműködött! 🎉

A "Zöld energia a föld alatt – amikor a felhagyott kutak újjáélednek" című írásunk a Transgeo projekt keretében készült Megvalósíthatósági tanulmány eredményeit mutatja be. Ez a tanulmány gyakorlati megoldásokat kínál arra, hogyan alakíthatók át a felhagyott szénhidrogén-kutak geotermikus energia előállítására Közép-Európában, fókuszban a vidéki területekkel. 🌍 💧
A Megvalósíthatósági tanulmány átfogóan elemzi a kutak geotermikus potenciálját, beleértve a technológiai átalakítási lehetőségeket, a helyi energiaszükségletet és a fűtési hálózatok integrációját. Ez hozzájárul Magyarország energiafüggetlenségéhez és a klímasemlegességhez. Büszkék vagyunk, hogy részt vehetünk ebben az innovatív EU-s Interreg Central Europe programban!

Our article, titled "Green Energy Underground – When Abandoned Wells Are Revived," presents the results of the Feasibility Study conducted as part of the Transgeo project. This study offers practical solutions for converting abandoned hydrocarbon wells into geothermal energy production facilities in Central Europe, with a focus on rural areas. 🌍 💧
The Feasibility Study comprehensively analyzes the geothermal potential of the wells, including technological conversion options, local energy demand, and the integration of heating networks. This contributes to Hungary’s energy independence and climate neutrality. We are proud to be part of this innovative EU Interreg Central Europe program!
