Between 22-24 August, the UICRP joined the Advanced Planning Visit of the “Embrace the Circle” project in Zagreb, Croatia.
The project is built around three interconnected pillars: Aikido and embodiment as educational tools; nature- and art-based learning; and non-formal education methods centred on European values and active participation.
This meeting brought together group leaders and young people from each partner country to transform the project’s ideas into a clear, meaningful and inclusive learning experience.
During these days, the partners focused on:
🔹 Connecting the team and strengthening cooperation
🔹 Sharing knowledge, skills and perspectives
🔹 Developing and refining the programme
🔹 Preparing for inclusion, accessibility and safety
🔹 Planning how the project’s impact can extend beyond the mobility itself
🔹 Creating the conditions for learning, personal growth and meaningful connections
From programme development and task division to participant preparation and risk management, every detail contributes to the bigger picture. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the planned activities, clarify responsibilities and consider how the different learning approaches can work together in practice. It also helped ensure that the upcoming mobility is structured around the needs of the participants, with sufficient space for participation, reflection and exchange.
The project is coordinated by Aiki En and co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme🇪🇺
