Rendkívüli megtiszteltetés volt részt venni ezen a különleges, nemzetközi színvonalú eseményen, amelyet Dr. Asmita Wele szervezett. Miklóssal a Debreceni Jóga Egyesületet képviseltük ezen a konferencián.
AJURVÉDA DEBRECENBEN AZ EGYETEMEN 2017
Az AYUSH Minisztérium különleges titkára, dr. Rajesh Kotecha, a New Delhi-i Központi Ajurvédikus Kutatási Tanács (CCRAS) főigazgatója, prof. K. S. Dhiman, a New Delhi-i Medanta Mediciti Kórház Integratív Orvoslás Tanszékének vezetője, dr. Geetha Krishnan, valamint a punei Integratív és Komplementer Egészségügyi Központ (CICH) igazgatója, prof. dr. Bhushan Patwardhan által alkotott négytagú delegáció 2017. október 1–4. között Magyarországra látogatott az Európai Ajurvédikus Tudományok Intézete (EIAS) Debreceni Egyetemen történő megalapításával kapcsolatban.
2017. október 1-jén egyetértési nyilatkozatot (MOU) írtak alá a Debreceni Egyetemen. A memorandumot prof. K. S. Dhiman, a CCRAS főigazgatója és dr. Csernoch László, a Debreceni Egyetem tudományos rektorhelyettese látta el kézjegyével India nagykövete, Őexcellenciája Rahul Chhabra jelenlétében.
Ezt követően a küldöttség megtekintette az egyetemi campust, valamint meglátogatta az Ajurvéda Tanszéket, ahol bemutatták az EIAS jövőbeli terveit. A látogató delegáció a Debreceni Egyetem tudományos kutatócsoportjával közös vacsorán találkozott.
október 2-án a delegáció részt vett a Debreceni Egyetem Aulájában megrendezett, „Integráció a kutatásban és a klinikai gyakorlatban” című, a Tudományos Alapú Ajurvédáról szóló szimpóziumon. Az eseményen több mint 75 kutató, hallgató és orvos vett részt.
A rendezvényt prof. dr. Asmita Wele, a Debreceni Egyetem Ajurvéda Tanszékének vezetője és Rahul Chhabra indiai nagykövet köszöntője nyitotta meg. Az Ajurvéda-delegáció és a Debreceni Egyetem több előadója áttekintést adott az ajurvédás kutatásokról és gyakorlatról. Az esemény az Indiai Nagykövetség (Budapest) által szervezett indiai kulturális műsorral zárult.
Október 3-án a látogató delegáció megbeszélést folytatott dr. Medgyessy Péter volt miniszterelnökkel, a Hagyományos Indiai Orvoslásért a Magyar Közegészségügyért Alapítvány alapítójával és vezetőjével.
A delegáció ezt követően találkozott dr. Ónodi-Szűcs Zoltán egészségügyért felelős államtitkárral, a Magyar Kormány képviselőjével. Megvitatták a két kormány ezen a területen zajló együttműködését.
A four member delegation consisting of Dr. Rajesh Kotecha, Special Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, Prof. K. S. Dhiman, Director General, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), New Delhi, Dr. Geetha Krishnan, Head of Department of Integrated Medicine, Medanta Mediciti Hospital, New Delhi, and Prof. Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan, Director of Center for Integrative and Complementary Health (CICH), Pune visited Hungary from 1-4 October, 2017 in connection with the establishment of the European Institute of Ayurvedic Sciences (EIAS) at University of Debrecen. An MOU was signed on 01 October 2017 at the University of Debrecen. Prof. K. S. Dhiman, Director General, CCRAS and Dr. Laszlo Csernoch Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at the University of Debrecen signed the Memorandum in the presence of the Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. Rahul Chhabra.
Thereafter they had a tour of the University Campus and visited the Ayush Chair where the future plan of the EIAS was portrayed. The visiting delegation interacted with the scientific research group of the University of Debrecen during dinner.
On 2nd October 2017 the delegation attended the Symposium on Evidence Based Ayurveda with the title of "Integration in Research and Clinical Practice" at the Aula of the University of Debrecen. Over 75 researchers, students and medical doctors attended the event.
The event was opened by welcome remarks of Prof. Dr. Asmita Wele, Ayush Chair, University of Debrecen and Ambassador of India, Mr. Rahul Chhabra. Several speakers from the Ayush Delegation and from the University of Debrecen gave an overview on Ayurveda Research and Practice. The event ended with Indian Cultural performances organized by the Embassy of India, Budapest.
On 3 October, 2017 the visiting delegation had meeting with Dr. Péter Medgyessy, former Prime Minister and Founder and Head of the Foundation of Traditional Indian Medicine for the Public Health in Hungary.
The visiting delegation subsequently met with Dr. Zoltán Ónodi-Szűcs, Minister of State for Health Care, Government of Hungary. They discussed the ongoing collaboration between the two governments in this field.
