Nature, fellowship, beautiful little town, beach

Worshipping God at the riverside and Baptism

Meeting point:
Batthyány tér (HÉV station) at 2:30-2:45 pm.
Shan will be waiting for you all and help you get the ticket and take the train altogether.
(If you have a Budapest Pass, the ticket only costs 500 Ft one way.
If you have Pest Vármegye Pass also, you don't need a ticket.)

At 3:30-4:00 pm you will arrive to Szentendre (depending on which train (HÉV) you guys manage to take with everyone else) and István and Adrien will wait for you there.

You can either go to the city with István (who lived his whole life there and knows the town very well) and have a 2 hours long walk around this beautiful artistic little town

OR

You can walk to the beach with Adrien and swim in the Danube (at your own risk as there is a small current) or chill under the trees or enjoy the sun or even do some barbecue. The beach is about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station.

At 6 pm we will all meet at the southern end of the beach, under the trees, where we will hold a small service: worship, a short sermon and then baptism.

Then we can have a pot luck (everyone sharing with others the food or drinks what they bring) and fellowship.

The sun sets around 9 pm so we can take the train back to Budapest around that time.

What to bring?
- walking shoes and thin clothes if you want to walk
- bathing suit, flip-flops, sunscreen, sunglasses and towel if you want to swim
- blanket to sit on (if you have any)
- food or drinks to share

About the beach:
The main beach is sandy at the shore (river bank), and there is grass to sit on.
It gets deep for swimming in 3-4 m from the riverbank.
If you can't swim, stay within 1 m of the riverbank.
