Dear fellow MUN-ers!

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the upcoming Eötvös József National Model Nations (ENMUN) Conference for 2023! We have an exciting agenda prepared, focusing on a wide range of global issues, which we are determined to combat and mitigate throughout the conference. This year’s conference will be held at Eötvös József Secondary School on December 9-10.

While we are dedicated to provide a professional and fruitful debate at ENMUN with engaging and relevant topics, and a devoted organising team, we are putting a special emphasis on the need to bring like-minded people together in Hungary to cherish the common goal of ensuring a better tomorrow for us all. ENMUN continues to be a platform to foster diplomacy, critical thinking, and international awareness among our talented delegates.

Dear Future Delegates!

Due to the high interest in the conference, we are very happy to announce that we are opening a fourth committee for ENMUN22. This will be the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee, debating the following topic:

"Taking measures to end the Syrian civil war with special emphasis on the fight against terrorism"

The committee will have an intermediate level, the chairs will be announced in the following days.

In addition, application to the Security Council is now closed as the available places have filled up. We encourage any delegates who were planning to apply to the SC to consider the CTC instead, this committee will also deliver high-level debate.

You still have 8 days left to apply to the remaining three committees!

Dear Future Delegates!

We are very happy to announce that ENMUN 2022 will be taking place on the 3rd and 4th of December and registration is now open.

The agenda for the conference is as follows:

UN Human Rights Council (HRC) - beginner/intermediate - Taking measures to protect women's rights and to overcome violent discrimination in light of the situation in Iran

UNGA1 Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) - beginner/intermediate - Taking measures towards the drastic reduction of nuclear weaponry

UN Security Council (SC) - advanced - crisis committee, topic revealed approximately a week prior to the conference

The conference fee will be 2500HUF, payment details will be communicated later on.

Dear Future Delegates,

We are delighted to inform you that the application for this year's Eötvös National Model United Nations (ENMUN) is officially open! We kindly welcome you to participte on the conference, which will be held on the 4th and 5th of December.

The committees and the debated topics will be the following:

United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) - Beginner: Mobilizing financial resources for developing countries to ensure sustainable development;

Human Rights Council (HRC) - Beginner: Safeguarding human rights in the Middle East in light of the Afghan crisis;

United Nations Security Council (UNSC) - Intermediate: Deescalating tensions in the South China Sea, with special regards to the conflict between the People's Republic of China and Taiwan;

United Nations Crisis Security Council (UNCSC) - Advanced: Delegates will receive information regarding the topic 1 week prior to the conference

The fee of the conference is 2500 HUF per participant, which can be paid to the organisers personally either before or during the conference.
For this price you will receive snacks for two days and other conference-related services, but please note that there will be no lunch provided.
