🇭🇺 2026. február 27-én, pénteken a budapesti Belvárosi Nagyboldogasszony Főplébániatemplomban a Magyar Nagyperjelség testvérei, családtagok, barátok és tisztelők gyűltek össze, hogy szentmisén közösen emlékezzenek herceg galántai Esterházy Antal G.BGCSJ hercegre.
A rekviem szentmisét Tóth Vencel OFM ferences atya celebrálta, és azt a Herceg lelki üdvéért ajánlották fel imádságos, hálaadó és testvéri egységben. A jelenlévők együtt adtak hálát egy olyan életért, amelyet méltóság, hagyománytisztelet és szolgálat jellemzett.
A szentmisét megtisztelte jelenlétével a Herceg özvegye, Szvetlana hercegné is. Továbbá jelen volt a Szent Gellért Lovagrend vezetése, valamint a Vitézi Rend vezetői, akik tiszteletüket és együttérzésüket fejezték ki.
A szertartás méltóságát emelte a Mikecz Kálmán Huszár Bandérium díszőrsége, amely hagyományőrző jelenlétével különös ünnepélyességet adott az alkalomnak.
A szentmisén az énekeket a Purcell Kórus képviseletében Pintér Ágnes adta elő orgonakísérettel, hozzájárulva a liturgia lelki emelkedettségéhez.
Az ősi templom falai között a gyertyák fénye és a közös imádság a Herceg lelki üdvéért emelkedett az ég felé. A Magyar Nagyperjelség hálával emlékezik életére, és az irgalmas Isten kegyelmébe ajánlja őt.
Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine.
Et lux perpetua luceat ei.

🇬🇧 On Friday, 27 February 2026, in the Inner City Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Budapest, members of the Grand Priory of Hungary of the Sovereign Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta (SHOSJ), together with family, friends and faithful supporters, gathered in solemn remembrance of His Highness Prince Antal Esterházy of Galánta, G.BGCSJ.
The Requiem Mass was celebrated by Father Vencel Tóth, OFM (Franciscan), and was offered for the spiritual well-being of the Prince in a spirit of prayer, gratitude and fraternal unity. All present gave thanks for a life distinguished by dignity, devotion to tradition, and faithful service.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Prince’s widow, Princess Svetlana. Also in attendance were the leadership of the Order of St. Gerard and the leadership of the Vitézi Rend, each expressing their respect and solidarity.
The solemnity of the liturgy was further enhanced by the ceremonial guard of the Mikecz Kálmán Hussar Company, whose traditional presence lent particular dignity to the occasion.
The sacred music of the Mass was rendered by Ágnes Pintér, representing the Purcell Choir, accompanied by organ, contributing greatly to the spiritual elevation of the liturgy.
Within the ancient walls of the church, candlelight and prayer rose together for the repose of the Prince’s soul. The Grand Priory of Hungary gives thanks for his life and commends him to the mercy of Almighty God.
