Discover in person the extraordinary and until 2002 top secret history of the Hospital in the Rock - a WWII underground hospital beneath the Buda Castle turned into a nuclear bunker in the Cold War era. As you walk through the rooms untouched since the 1960s, see there the approx. 200 life-like wax figures, the original furniture and equipment, you could experience a very unique atmosphere and the

historic events of World War II, the revolution of 1956 and the Cold War era from a different angle. In our most recent exhibition you could also see the current situation of military medicine through the life-saving actions of the Special Forces Units. Take part in this fascinating time travel that provides something special for everybody! Other language options (e.g. German, French or Italian) may be arranged for groups upon preliminary request
