is a non-profit organization established in 2009 by the Cooperativa Sociale Arca of Florence (Italy) together with Hungarian partners, with the overall objective of developing the social sector with particular attention to the social economy, in Hungary and in the EU, cooperating with international and local partners for the exchange of good practices and mutual learning in the interests of an equ
itable, inclusive and sustainable European growth. In particular, our organization works in the fields of education and teaching, training, citizenship education, youth empowerment and equal opportunity. Our goal is to stimulate, encourage and facilitate cooperation and collaboration between Hungarian and Italian reality, and of other nations, in the social sector. We are interested in topics of integration and social inclusion, employment, youth and equal opportunities for disadvantaged, with particular attention to the fight against discrimination and the inclusion in the workplace and in the society of the disadvantaged people, especially disabled people, people belonging to minorities and in situation of economic distress and at risk of social exclusion. Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Kft.’s activities are particularly focused on youth, disadvantaged people, especially in social, economic or cultural esclusion and in disability. Among our activities:
