Procrastination is rarely about time management. More often, it’s about the thoughts that quietly shape avoidance: “I’ll fail,” “It’s too much,” “I need to feel ready first.”
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on this exact loop—how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors reinforce each other. When we learn to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, we can slowly interrupt the cycle that keeps us stuck.
CBT doesn’t aim for perfect thinking. It aims for more flexible thinking—thoughts that make action possible, even when motivation is low.
Progress often begins not with doing more, but with thinking differently about what “doing” even means.
