It’s the IIC team here, and today we’re excited to share some great news with you all:
We’re officially launching our very first Investing Newsletter!🤩💙
It’s been 4 years since the founding of the International Investment Club. As we always say our simple goal throughout these years has been: keep improving. From one generation of members to the next, that mission has guided everything we’ve done.
You might remember some of our successful events—like the International Dinner, our GDG collaboration, or the IIC Picnic. Each of them brought something new, meaningful, and impactful to the club. Now, we’re ready to grow again. After six months of brainstorming, and preparation, we’re proud to introduce the IIC Newsletter—a new chapter in how we connect, inform, and inspire.
To help answer your questions and give you some behind-the-scenes insight, we sat down with the person who made this initiative happen—Sergiu Manic, Vice President of IIC.
Sergiu, you’re the Vice President of IIC, which already comes with a lot of responsibility. What inspired you to launch a newsletter on top of everything else?
“I actually saw a newsletter from another organization and thought—why not build something of our own, shaped around our goals and values? I just wanted to contribute something meaningful, and the vision really aligned with this idea.”
So what are the main goals of the newsletter?
“First, it’s a way to keep former members connected with what we’re doing now. But more than that, it’s a space to share advice, updates, and real market insights. We want it to be a helpful, engaging resource for both current and past members—to encourage them to get involved again and stay in the loop.”
And what makes it stand out from other newsletters?
“I believe good investors have to stay up to date with what is happening around the world, whether it's economic policies, new earnings reports, new merges and so on, and the events are a good way to keep people together. These aspects I believe are perfect for our club”
