Hungarian team 🇭🇺 has just returned from the Erasmus+ project “HOPE – Holistic Organisational Practices for Environment”, which took place in Vilnius, Lithuania from 23 to 31 January 2025.

The aim of the project was to raise awareness about environmental issues, promote sustainable habits, and empower young people to become active creators of a greener future. And our participants did exactly that — and more! 🌍💚

Over the course of 8 inspiring days, they:
♻️ Took part in hands-on workshops about zero waste, carbon footprint, and circular economy
📣 Created and launched digital environmental campaigns and awareness posters
🎭 Designed and performed eco-themed role plays, exhibitions, and interactive activities in parks and public spaces
🧠 Gained knowledge on waste management, recycling practices, and youth participation
🎨 Transformed trash into beautiful recycled art during the final exhibition in the heart of Vilnius
🎤 Reflected daily in small groups, building a deeper understanding of learning, communication, and emotional growth
🎶 Connected through intercultural evenings, music, food, and open conversation

Most importantly, they built lifelong friendships, learned how to become eco-leaders in their communities, and returned home filled with new ideas and motivation to take action. 🌱✨

✨ Youth Exchange Recap: “It’s Not About Boys vs Girls” in Berlin, Germany! ✨

From 6 to 14 September 2024, six participants from Hungary proudly represented us in the Erasmus+ youth exchange project, “It’s Not About Boys vs Girls”, held in Berlin, Germany. The project addressed gender inequality, one of the critical United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG #5). Together with other young Europeans, our participants explored how gender-based issues affect everyday life and how we, as a society, can work towards equality.

📣What We Achieved

Over the week, participants engaged in workshops, discussions, and collaborative activities that helped us:

1️⃣ Raise Awareness:

• Participants learned how gender inequality impacts various areas of life, including education, health, and the economy.
• By understanding these implications, they became more aware of the challenges and solutions needed to reach a more inclusive society.

2️⃣ Encourage Equality in Education:

• The group explored how gender inequality affects access to education and opportunities.
• Through interactive sessions, young people gained tools to promote equality learning in their communities.

3️⃣ Highlight Gender Inequality in the Economy:

• Participants discussed the effects of gender disparity in the workplace and economic systems.
• While creating a fully sustainable, equal economy remains a long-term goal, this project empowered young people to recognize these issues and work towards solutions as future leaders.

4️⃣ Improve Well-being and Awareness in Health:

• The project shed light on how gender inequality affects mental and physical health.
• By sharing knowledge and experiences, participants were encouraged to promote well-being and health equity in their own environments.

While the journey toward full gender equality continues, this project was a significant step in raising awareness and inspiring action. Through this exchange, young people gained critical knowledge and skills to create a more equal and inclusive European society.

💡 We are proud to have been the Hungarian partner in this incredible initiative, sending six bright participants to join this journey towards equality. Together, we are building a better future! 💡

🌟 ERASMUS+ Youth Exchange Project: Don’t take risk but precaution 🌟

The "Don’t take risk but precaution " exchange project brought together 51 young individuals from 10 different countries (Greece, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, lithuania, Poland,Türkiye) for an enlightening journey into the world of media literacy. 🇬🇷 🇮🇹 🇭🇺 🇵🇹 🇷🇴 🇧🇬🇵🇱🇱🇹🇹🇷🇭🇷

Participants actively engaged in activities designed to empower them with essential skills and insights into the dynamic world of Disaster Management.

They explored the sites of Disaster Management Authorities in Turkey, and learnt about the infrastructure.

We engaged in the following activities :-

•Talking to the native Turkish Nationals about their awareness of Disaster Management.
•Poster Competition
•Site visiting
•Presentation about the different types of Natural disasters.

But it wasn't just about Disaster management literacy. This project was a melting pot of cultures, fostering rich intercultural dialogue and understanding. 🫶🏻

We're incredibly proud of these young minds for embracing the challenges and opportunities of Risk and disaster management literacy with open arms. 🌱

The "Media Literate Youth" exchange project brought together 42 young individuals from 7 different countries (Greece, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Türkiye) for an enlightening journey into the world of media literacy. 🇬🇷 🇮🇹 🇭🇺 🇵🇹 🇷🇴 🇪🇸 🇹🇷

Participants actively engaged in activities designed to empower them with essential skills and insights into the dynamic world of media. They explored the evolution of media consumption, identified false information, and participated in activities like:

Fake News Magazine Activity
Mobilizing Scientific Literacy
SWOT Analysis on Mass Media
Erasmus+ Key Competencies Presentations
Media SWOT Analysis
Analyzing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of Different Media Sources 📱📰

But it wasn't just about media literacy. This project was a melting pot of cultures, fostering rich intercultural dialogue and understanding. 🫶🏻
