Many years ago, I, Telsaint was living in a world with no hope. In fact, the only desire a young boy has in Haiti is that he will someday find the opportunity to escape the country for a better life elsewhere. After witnessing 350 people getting rescued (myself included) from a sinking ship and getting shipped back to Haiti, a United States military man fought and pushed to get me boarded onto a s
olo flight in a military cargo jet headed straight for America. This was the first time in my life that I felt this thing they called Hope. I am not sure to this day what that stranger had seen in me or why God chose me as the one to make it out of there but now my wife Amanda and I have a vision of providing that same hope to my Haitian people. The hope that God sees them right where they are and through all circumstances. Our vision is one of unity within the community, equipping them to be good citizens and showing that there is a bright shining future in Haiti. A vision that teaches trades, provides resources and allows young men and women to provide for their families. Now you can be the one who believes that there is someone worth fighting for in Haiti.
