Etwal timoun

ETWAL TIMOUN is a Christian faith-based organization that was created on June 24, 2011 to provide support to underprivileged children in the community, thereby laying down the foundation for a better Haiti. In Haiti there is a saying, "granmoun yo echwe, jenn yo devye," which means the older generation has failed and the younger one is off track. Well a group of young university students and folks from the older generation came together to get on track and to succeed in helping destitute children in the community. Our first project followed real soon as the needs were urgent. We had our first summer camp ( July-August 2012) where we fed 100 children, taught, distributed toys, and organized a slew of cultural activities. Our leadership is composed of concerned citizens with high moral character and christian values, who are working to improve living conditions of impoverished children in the community by helping them to get access to education, healthcare, and with socio-cultural inclusion. Etwal Timoun has no political aspiration or affiliation. Our only aspiration is to do God's work by helping the less fortunate in our commmunity. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race,or religion.
