We want to send a shoutout to our sponsors who have made it possible to distribute 150 menstrual kits throughout the Cap Haitian area. Placerville Days for Girls and Branford Rotary have made it possible to distribute these kits that include one drawstring bag, two shields, eight liners, one transport bag, one bar of soap, and one calendar card. 🥳🎉

Menstrual health education and menstrual health supplies continue to be in great need in Haiti. We have excellent Ambassadors of Women’s Health available to present the menstrual health education at the time of kit distribution. We have several skilled seamstresses and tailors who are so appreciative of the work available to them in sewing the kits.

❌ The distributions work best when done fifty at a time. If your group or organization serves girls and women who would benefit, please reach out to place your order. If you do not have a specific community in which you work, we have many girls and women whom we have identified and a kit distribution can be sponsored in your name.

✅ The kits are $20 each and there is an additional cost for the educators and cost of transport.

We are fortunate to have an amazing network and amazing friends. All Good Things Thrift Shoppe recently had a donation of 2 older industrial sewing machines with a design that's perfect for converting to treadle. Our team co-founder Cindy Buchanan is back in our area, and last year traveled to the Days for Girls Sewing Center - Vaudreille, Haiti which seeks out machines for treadle conversion due to unreliable electric power. A friend of the Enterprise, Jodi Crimmel traveled 4 hours from NE PA today to pick them up. Cindy and Jodi hadn't seen one another since they went to Haiti together last spring. Here they are with the donated machines which will be packed into a shipping container bound for Days for Girls Sewing Center - Vaudreille, Haiti! Thanks, Jodi, for traveling to pick them up, and thanks AGT for donating them.
