Simultaneous and remote teacher training continues in Haiti.
This morning, 300 teachers across 9 locations in Haiti joined our Week 3 Digital Superhighway Teacher Training—with 2 new locations added since last week.
Every new location brings us closer to our vision of training 10,000 teachers over the next five years through one simultaneous, technology-enabled training. Thank you to our partners and teams for helping transform teacher development across Haiti!

We asked one our team memberswhat parents appreciate most, his answer wasn't about buildings or technology.

It was this:

"Once a parent can see their child go to school, and their child can read and count, that means a lot to them."

Education goes beyond academics. In rural Haiti, it opens doors for a child, family, and eventually for an entire community.

What happens when you combine education with technology?

You remove barriers that once seemed impossible.

Before our Technology Learning Enhancement (TLE) Centers, training teachers often meant traveling long distances from Port-au-Prince to rural communities. That required not only time, money, and resources, but limited how many educators could be reached.

Today, one reliable internet connection changes that.

Each TLE Center is equipped with Starlink internet, large interactive screens, cameras, microphones, and space for educators to learn together in real time.

Instead of training one school at a time, expert educators can now connect with hundreds of teachers across multiple regions simultaneously.

That means:
• More teachers receiving quality professional development.
• Less travel and lower costs.
• More consistent support for rural schools.
• Better learning experiences for thousands of students.

Technology isn't replacing teachers, but instead access the support they deserve.

Because every well-equipped teacher creates new opportunities for the children sitting in their classroom.

One thing you may not know is school isn't free in Haiti.

Even public education often comes with costs that many families simply can't afford.

Tuition, uniforms, shoes, school supplies, transportation.

For some parents, those expenses mean making an impossible choice.

Not because they don't value education but because they can't access it.

That's why Word 2 Act Haiti removes barriers. We're not just by building schools, we're helping children attend them.

When education becomes accessible, everything else can begin to change.

In some communities, a school becomes more than a school.

It becomes a place of learning.
A place of nourishment.
A place where teachers are supported.
A place where families find hope.
A place where future leaders begin to discover what's possible.

In rural Haiti, a school becomes an oasis.

Build the oasis with us at Word 2 Act Haiti by heading to our website below.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our TLE Launch Event possible last month!

Together, we celebrated more than the opening of new Technology Learning Enhancement (TLE) Centers. We celebrated what's possible when communities, educators, partners, and supporters unite around a shared vision for the future of education in Haiti.

Over the past several months, Word 2 Act Haiti has expanded its network to seven Technology Learning Enhancement Centers, creating new opportunities to connect educators, strengthen teacher training, and bring innovative learning tools to rural communities across the country.

Throughout the event, we were honored to welcome education leaders, ministry representatives, mission organizations, church partners, and supporters who share our commitment to expanding educational opportunity across Haiti.

As we look ahead, our vision remains to train and equip 10,000 teachers over the next five years.

Every teacher who receives training has the potential to impact hundreds of students throughout their career. By investing in educators today, we're helping strengthen classrooms, families, and entire communities for generations to come.

Thank you for believing in this mission and for celebrating this important milestone with us. Together, we're building a stronger future for education in Haiti!
