Update from Our Haiti Mama Team
Our team in Haiti has shared heartbreaking news from the area where they live and work. Torrential rains and an overflowing river have destroyed main roads and cut off access to surrounding areas. This has already led to shortages and rising prices for essentials like food, gasoline, and propane.

Even in the midst of devastation, you can hear laughter in the background of the video our team sent. That joy and resilience, shining through hardship, is what makes the Haitian people so incredibly special. It’s the spirit that keeps our Haiti Mama family moving forward no matter what comes their way.
As the rain continues to fall, our team is preparing as best they can, but we know the days ahead will be difficult. At this time, we don’t yet know the full extent of the damage or what will be most needed, but your support makes a difference.

💛 Celebrating Jameson & Widberline 💛

Today we’re celebrating two incredible young people — Jameson and Widberline — who have officially graduated and completed their training!

With the support of Haiti Mama, Jameson earned his certification in plumbing, and Widberline completed her training in cosmetology. Through mentorship, encouragement, and financial assistance, they were able to stay focused and reach this milestone.

Both have faced loss and difficult family dynamics, yet they’ve shown remarkable resilience and hope. Their success is a powerful reminder of what happens when we invest in young people and give them the tools to build a better future.

This is what the power of uplifting families and youth in Haiti looks like. The future is bright, and we couldn’t be more proud. 🌟
