We are ministering to children in Haiti.

Did you know that most of the children we serve come from families earning just $2–$3 a day—if even that?

Providing a large, HOT MEAL FIVE DAYS A WEEK to the 65 kids in our program is an enormous blessing to both the children and their families. For many of them, this may be the only hot meal they receive all day, as most families simply are not able to provide one consistently.

Thank you for helping make that possible!

- that the food will be extra nourishing
- as we nourish their bodies, may their hearts and minds also be nourished with the love of Christ!

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY/URGENT NEED!!

It has been on our hearts for a while to buy Bibles for the student in our program grades 3-6 (those that can read). For most families, money is very tight, and not used on books-even a Bible.
We have now located French Bibles and are ready to purchase.

Have you heard!? In January, we were able to move back to our original location — where we first started the After-School Program in 2021. This property provides much more space for the kids to run and play in the yard, along with additional classroom space for homework and learning.

Both the kids and staff are enjoying the cooler breeze up on the mountainside and are loving being back in this location. (Did we mention the view!? 😍😍) It is also safer now, with a school open nearby and more families moving back into their homes around us.

We are so excited about this move and love seeing pictures of the kids and staff gathered on our property again!

A few PRAISES that happened in January and February:

- We helped a former After-School Program family purchase a BED for their children (ages 11, 4, and 2), so they would no longer have to sleep on a cement floor and get wet from rain leaking into their home.
- We provided MEDICALCARE for three children in our program—one with a broken arm and two who needed medical attention and medication for illnesses.

- We also helped FOUR families who were struggling to provide FOOD for their households.

Sak Pase! A glimpse into Haiti from Gary

The situation in Haiti remains very serious, especially in an area of Port-au-Prince, where kidnappings and violence have increased significantly. Last week, multiple kidnapping attempts took place. Police intervened in several operations, resulting in several criminals being killed or arrested. Tragically, two police officers lost their lives and three others were injured. Violence remains extremely high in parts of the capital, and we continue to pray for protection and greater security.
However, our community remains peaceful. Children have few activities after school, which ends at 1 p.m., so we created a program that provides homework help, Bible teaching, and a daily meal. With many schools no longer able to provide food due to insecurity—and many parents unemployed because businesses have closed—this program has become a tremendous blessing to the children and their families. While nearby areas face violence, our area continues to be a safe place for families and children.

Pray for:
- continued peace and safety in our area
- continued ability to provide these kids a meal each day
- for peace across Haiti!

A good meal is a big part of what we do in our program. For many, this is the only real meal they will get that day. For many families getting food continues to be difficult IF they can even afford to buy it. We are so thankful we are able to help in this way.

Pray for health and strength, that this meal is extra nourishing, for us to continue to be able to get food for them, and for those struggling to get their own food.

These kids know the value of an education and work hard at their studies. It’s an honor to walk along side them.

We’re back!!
Not only are we back up and running after the holidays, we are thrilled to announce that our program is BACK AT OUR ORIGINAL LOCATION!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
With things continuing to be calm in our area, people are moving back, schools are being opened and we felt good about moving back to our home base which gives us MORE ROOM for classes, MORE ROOM for cooking, MORE ROOM to study, eat, and grow, and MORE ROOM TO PLAY!!!!
Please continue to pray for our program as we help and minister to over 60 youth in the community.

We have another MEDICAL NEED in Haiti. This friend of ours needs this large cyst removed. (It now is abou the size of a tennis ball) He has had this cyst since July and has had MANY visits to the hospital for tests and treatment. The cysts continues to get bigger and the Dr. said it needs to be removed. The medical costs to have it surgically removed is about $750. This young man does not have a job and the money his family earns is spent on food and housing. We would like to help this friend of ours with the medical expenses to have this cyst removed before it causes more complications for him.
