We are thrilled to announce Dr. Rakiya Abdullahi Babamaaji, Acting Director of International Cooperation and Linkages at NASRDA. An expert in Geosciences and satellite data applications, she was elected to the African Space Council in 2024. Dr. Rakiya also serves as Vice Chair of the ITU/WMO/UNEP Focal Group on AI for Natural Hazards and is a member of the Advisory Board for the ESA EO AFRICA R&D Facility.
