Nestor Foundation, founded in 2010 and re-incorporated in 2016, is a not for profit organization whose purpose is to provide financial support to a variety of charities, schools and individual families in
Haiti. In addition we have helped relocate a lot of families who have lost their homes and family members during the catastrophic earthquake of 2010.
Helping the children of Haiti reaching their maximum potential is our goal and we're strive to do that every day. Michelet Nestor and his wife Marjorie Nestor, have been an active member in the Haitian community, whether it be in Haiti or aboard. In 2014, Michelet Nestor declared his candidacy for president of Haiti, needless to say, that election was cancelled. After a year of preparation, campaigning, traveling around the country to meet and discuss the need of the Haitian citizens, he realized that the country's problem is bigger than he thought. A president or the government itself can not resolve the problem we are facing. We, the people of Haiti have to work to together hand in hand with the government to fix it. Educating our youth, maintaining and support our young talents, maintaining our rules of law and the security of our citizens as well as the security of their investment, and the support of small businesses and foreign investment will lead the country to prosperity and a better economy.
