During the session of March 30, 2026
Since the launch of the MamaLovesBaby project, this is the very first time we have identified a twin pregnancy.
The smile and satisfaction of this mother-to-be say so much… despite the challenges, she carries a double blessing, a double hope.
Moments like this remind us why we travel these difficult roads and continue reaching those too often forgotten. Because every mother deserves care, and every life deserves to be celebrated.

On International Women’s Day, Help For Health Haiti recognizes the importance of equitable access to healthcare for women and girls.

As a health organization, we contribute to improving the health and well-being of women across all age groups through the services provided at Help For Health Clinic Haiti and through our various community health initiatives. Our work focuses on expanding access to care, strengthening prevention, and addressing the health needs of women and adolescent girls.

On this day, Help For Health Haiti reaffirms its commitment to advancing the health of women and girls and to supporting healthier communities throughout Haiti.

À l’occasion de la Journée internationale des droits des femmes, Help For Health Haiti souligne l’importance de l’accès aux services de santé pour les femmes et les filles.

En tant qu’organisation de santé, nous contribuons chaque jour à l’amélioration de la santé des femmes de toutes les catégories d’âge à travers les services offerts par Help For Health Clinic Haiti ainsi que par nos différents projets de santé communautaire. Ces actions visent à renforcer la prévention, l’accès aux soins et la prise en charge des besoins de santé des femmes et des adolescentes.

As part of the program to strengthen the Haitian health system, Help For Health Haiti organized, on February 21–22, 2026, a practical training workshop in basic clinical care.

This activity provided training for 30 future doctors, aimed at strengthening their practical skills and improving the quality of patient care.

Such an initiative is critically important for building the capacity of healthcare personnel, standardizing clinical practices, and enhancing the safety and effectiveness of care provided to the population.

The organization commends the dedication of the participants and reaffirms its commitment to advancing the development of Haiti’s healthcare sector.

Dans le cadre du programme de renforcement du système de santé haïtien, Help For Health Haiti a organisé, les 21 et 22 février 2026, un atelier de pratique en soins cliniques de base.

Cette activité a permis de former 30 futurs médecins, en vue de consolider leurs compétences pratiques et d’améliorer la qualité de la prise en charge des patients.

Une telle initiative revêt une importance majeure pour le renforcement des capacités du personnel de santé, la standardisation des pratiques cliniques et l’amélioration de la sécurité des soins offerts à la population.

L’organisation salue l’engagement des participants et réaffirme sa mission de contribuer au développement du secteur de la santé en Haïti.

Modeline: I’m a 38 years old pregnant women and I live in the remote mountains of Haiti. Here, the roads are narrow, the slopes are steep, and hospitals are hours away. Money is tight, and paying for a doctor or an exam is often impossible. Every day, I carry this new life with worry in my heart. I dream of knowing my baby is healthy, of hearing their heartbeat, seeing them on an ultrasound, knowing if it’s a boy or a girl… but here, that feels like a luxury. The fear of complications and the lack of medical care make pregnancy even more uncertain and isolating.

That’s where Help For Health Haiti comes in with their MamaLovesBaby project. They travel to us, even on these impossible roads, bringing free ultrasounds, essential medicines, and education to help us care for ourselves and our babies. Because of them, our pregnancies are no longer invisible, and hope is alive again.

Through the MamaLovesBaby project, we meet pregnant women who are so often forgotten, yet carry such strength and hope within them. To offer a listening ear, gentle care, and reassurance during this precious season is a true gift. Each mother is seen, each life is valued, and every journey reminds us why love must always go the distance.

As part of its training and awareness programs, Help For Health Haiti organized an educational session on high blood pressure (hypertension) for young people in the community.

This activity is part of our commitment to preventing chronic diseases through information, education, and active community involvement. The young participants expressed great satisfaction and showed a strong willingness to collaborate in strengthening prevention efforts at the community level.

The session raised awareness about the importance of: a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet, regular physical activity, early screening and blood pressure monitoring

By investing in youth, Help For Health Haiti strengthens prevention and encourages the adoption of health-promoting behaviors, helping to reduce the impact of chronic diseases in the community.

The MamaLovesBaby project continues as planned, supporting pregnant women who live in very difficult conditions and cannot afford basic prenatal care.
Many mothers would go through pregnancy without ultrasounds, medications, or guidance if this project did not exist. Through MamaLovesBaby, we provide free ultrasounds, essential medications, and education sessions to help protect both mothers and babies.
