✨ A GAHDA Update: Every Month, More Lives Are Being Reached ❤️
Over the past several months, our team at GAHDA has continued to make meaningful progress in expanding access to breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment in Grand’Anse, Haiti.
Thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers, healthcare partners, and supporters, we’ve been able to:
• Screen and evaluate more than 2,200 women through clinical breast examinations and physical therapy services.
• Educate over 2,400 community members on breast health and the importance of early detection.
• Identify and refer women with suspicious findings for further testing and specialized care.
• Provide hundreds of diagnostic services, including ultrasounds and biopsies, helping detect breast cancer earlier when treatment is most effective.
• Continue providing life-saving medications such as Tamoxifen and Letrozole to women currently undergoing treatment.
• Support patients receiving chemotherapy, mastectomies, transportation assistance, and nutritional support throughout their cancer journey.
Behind every number is a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, or friend whose life has been touched by this program.
We know there is still so much work to do. Too many women in Haiti continue to face barriers to receiving timely breast cancer care. But every patient served, every diagnosis made, and every life impacted reminds us why this mission matters.
To everyone who has supported GAHDA—whether through donations, partnerships, encouragement, or prayers—thank you. Your generosity is creating real change and bringing hope to families throughout southern Haiti.
Together, we are proving that quality healthcare can reach even the most underserved communities.
💙 Thank you for believing in this mission. We can’t wait to share what’s next.
